Really a negative star. I took my expensive wool suit pants in for a dry clean. When I picked the pants up, the white lining was covered with splodges and huge blue stains. When I asked the proprietor what had happen, he explained that they must have been like that when I brought the pants in. I explained that wasn't the case. He then said nobody else complained. He then went on to complain and deny that he was accountable for the stains. Never in my life has a dry cleaner done such damage - this is all new to me. If anyone plans on going to this place, please be warned.

Avoid like the plague. I visi...

Avoid like the plague. I visited the Lusby location on a Tuesday and was told that the tailor was at the Prince Frederick location. I drove up there and was measured/pinned for the alterations to my suit jacket. I was charged $120 to have it taken in and the collar lowered to remove a small crease between my shoulders. I asked them if it would be done the following day, considering the steep price...they said that would be no problem but the price was high because he "is a master tailor". I needed the suit for Saturday so I told that anything prior to friday evening would be fine (I didn't want to make them work on it that night). They told me that I could pick it up at 5pm Friday at the Lusby location. I asked if they GUARANTEE that it will be there, they said "yes, of course". I called at ~3:30 PM that Friday to ensure that it was there before I drove home from work. They said that my ticket wasn't in the system. I stopped there at 4 PM and was told that they didn't even start the alterations yet and they would done the following day. I explained that I had to leave town by 6PM and they told me to come back at 5:30. I returned...and was told "5 more minutes" repeatedly for a total of 30 minutes. I asked the owner if this is the way a "master tailor" does business (wait until the last minute to do the work, deliver it an hour late, make me wait there for 30 minutes). He said he was sorry and I suggested that he give me a partial refund of $40. He then said that I already got a 20$ discount on the total and he would refund me $20...I told him that was unacceptable considering the extremely bad customer service and the fact that I wasted 2 hours driving there twice and waiting. He stuck to his assertion that I already got a discount (which he never mentioned before). I told him I was going to write a scathing review of this store....you just read it. There is another dry cleaners right across the street next to Food Lion...I suggest you go there, they're cheaper and actually do what they say they will. The quality of the tailoring was OK, but nothing warranting "master tailor" pricing. I think he just gave himself that title when he printed the business cards. If I didn't call them, I would have been waiting an additional 90 minutes. Their other location is on Costley Way in Prince Frederick in the parking lot of "Nick's of Calvert" grocery/butcher....I suggest you avoid that location as well.
