I called eight times in a row trying to get ready for work. The picked up every time and didnt say a word and hung up. Enough said

This type of service is what you get with a monopoly on the taxi service in Lubbock. I had called ahead two days to have a taxi at the airport when I arrived. When no one showed up, I called and the driver said that he had just got the call and would be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later he arrived. When I called back to get picked up from a downtown Lubbock location, it took 40 minutes for a cab to arrive, nearly costing me to miss my flight out of Lubbock. The dispatcher was annoying and not very helpful.

SAVE your time and money, rent a car. I could have rented and had much less headaches, and not have had to skip lunch because I couldn't get back to the airport on time.

$3 for the first 1/10th mile and then $.20 for each additional 1/10th mile is outrageous. My daughter needed a ride to the airport from Lubbock proper and it cost $43! The airline ticket was only $95! Find a friend to drive you - that's ridiculous.
