We were told by the salesman that the carpet he showed us was worth the extra cost. Great if you spilled anything, it would come up. If it didn't someone that had great experance would come and clean it. If it didn't come up, they would replace the carpet at no cost. Well I spilled a coke, and called him. All I got was a number to call, then another number to call, that told me how to clean it. I tried it, the coke color came up, but, not the syrup, it looks matted down now. So I call back to tell them it didn't come up. I was told that it would cost me $2.00 a mile, plus $65.00fpr the spot. We live 120 miles from the nearest carpet cleaning company that is on the list of approved company's. Plus, when they installed my carpet they scratched my base boards way more than was needed. Just got in a hurry to get finished. Our seam shows in the living room which was one thing we were concerned about because of the old carpet showed so bad. We were told it would not show. But, it does. Now we know better than to buy where they don't stand behind the expensive carpet they sale you/

I had new flooring installed in my kitchen and entry hall. A MothersDay / Anniversary gift from my husband. The floors are great, however, the installers didn't show up until almost 10:00. They put down the coating to cover the ceramic tile and then left for a two hour lunch. When they came back and started sanding they turned a fan on and covered my house in white dust. They then proceeded to tell us that they couldn't finish in one day. We were assured when we bought the flooring it would only take one day and so that is all of the time that my husband and I took off. My husband called the store and I guess someone from there called the installers and told them to get it done. When they laid the flooring around the front of my dishwasher they somehow bent my dishwasher and now when you open the door it almost sits on the floor. Of course they said they didn't do it and apparently Yates is not going to do anything about it and so I now am out the cost to have someone come out and re-set my dishwasher so that it is setting correctly and the door doesn't sit on the floor. Beware of the installers from Yates.

Building a home can be absolutely overwhelming. The Yates team made the flooring decisions on our new home anything but that. They were exceptional to work with. They were always prepared at meetings, they had innovative ideas and they listened to my own personal tastes and incorporated them. I love my house! Thanks Yates for doing an amazing job.

Yates is the only flooring center you should use in Lubbock. The selection is huge and if it's. It in stock they will find it for you. Will Truby's customer service is amazing! He never hesitates to drop every king and mak me his priority when I walk through the door. Have used Yates for several projects over the years and will continue to use them in the future.

I have been a Yates Flooring customer for 15 years. We own a home building/ remodeling business & the service they provide us is over the top, second to none. Always a helpful, do the right thing kind of staff. Scarlett is our sales associate we work with and she has a designers gift w/ decor. I recommend Yates flooring to all. You will be glad you did so when it's all done.

Yates has the most unbelievable selection of high end products I have ever seen. Hands down it is is the best place we have done business with including the Dallas and Austin area. Lubbock is fortunate to have a business of this quality. They offered us so much in product, service and design. We highly recommend them.
