Get the whole catfish... Yummy for my tummy!!

River Smith's recently catered a wedding I was in, and the food turned out amazing. The groom requested 2 roatsted pigs (yes, the entire pig), and River Smith's was able to accomodate the request. They made pork tacos with all the toppings, including this amazing rasberrry chipolte sauce. I would highly recommend River Smith's to anyone looking for a wedding caterer.

River Smith's has the best Catfish in West Texas. They recently started catering a weekly business luncheon, and I was surprised to learn that they have an amazingly diverse menu. The Teriyaki Chicken is my personal favorite! Would highly recommend them for a dinner out, and even more so for catering!

Don't go there. Food not very impressive, considering how many places you can go.

The last time we were there on Mothers Day 2012 there were two guys playing with an 8" knife holding it up to another guys throat at their table.

We didnt finish our food. Just left. If the food had been any better, we might have gone back another day. but with the two, poor quality of food and an unsafe environment, just isnt worth it.

If you are looking for a decent place with great catfish then river smith is not the place. I recently went there starving after wanting to go there for a long time but I still didn't like the food that much. We ordered 2 whole catfish, and 3 combo with butterfly shrimp, white fish, whole chicken with drinks for $ 26. Both the fish were undercooked and the chicken was worse than Church's chicken. Next time I want catfish and chicken, I'll just go to Golden Corral. And River smith is not a full service restaurant either.

Two whole catfish, seasoned just right, deep fried, and make to order! I will surely order again and again. My kids ordered the catfish nuggets and the were just as tastee. There were several sides to choose from, different ways to have your fish and chicken prepared, chicken fry,etc and a small salad bar. A casual atmosphere with a big screen t.v. in the back, and a pretty good size fish tank in the wall ( a conversation piece while you wait). You order when you first get there and the staff checks on you from time to time. Can't wait to get back!
