He may be a Tech grad(no proof of that!) but he certainly isn't local, and his girl there certainly wasn't paying much at all! I guess he spent all his money blowing up my TV screen with his ridiculous advertisements! Enough already!
Raining money at his store?! No way!

mgb is a ripoff - the guy that works the afternoon ripped us off - could not get our stuff back - not a place I recommend - not even registered with the BBB

I was very happy with the service I got here.

I was very reluctant to go into mikes. I thought it was like some kind of pawn shop and was sort of embarrassed. But their office is actually super nice and it was a very pleasant experience!

I took my stuff into mgb. I had a whole bunch of junk that I didn't know was real or not. The girl there was so nice and happily sorted through all my crap. After about half of my stuff stuck to the magnet, I got $346 for stuff that was good! heck ya!

I had 4 10k rings. I took them to EZ Pawn and the man only offered me $10 for each ring. I didn't think that was right. I took them to mikes gold buyers and they gave me $105!.

The girls working were so friendly and after checking with several places in town I got the best offer from MGB! I would highly recommend MGB to anyone looking to get rid of their gold or silver! :)

I don't think these other individuals were in the same store! I took what I thought was a ton of junk in and got an offer of $1500 so I decided I would shop around first. That was the best offer in town!!! The young lady working was so helpful and very friendly. I would highly suggest that if you have gold or silver to get rid of definitely take it to MGB!!!!!

I would definitely recommend Mikes Gold Buyers to anyone. I took my gold to a few different stores and mgb offered the best price. The girls in the office were very friendly, helpful, and honest. I wouldn't take my gold anywhere else.

Not very good service, the lady was very rude and didnt dirrectly answer any of my questions about my jewelry she seemed kind of clueless about what i was asking her. Would not recommend anyone to go there!

I took my gold ring into Mike's and the girl (no, not Mike, apparently Mike doesn't live in Lubbock! So much for a Tech guy...) offered me $300( I ended up getting $450 for it at Caprock Gold Exchange). The girl seemed to be clueless as to what she was doing and was rude when I said I didn't want to sell, she said I wouldn't get a better price in town. Guess what? I DID!

Will never go back to Mike's, not in a great part of town and lowballed on what my gold ring was worth.

What a great place, very professional & spotless! Paula was very helpful & walked me through every step of the gold selling experience. I have bought & sold gold through other shops but this was 1st time selling. It was fast, easy & very good pay-out. Plus it was spotless & private
