My husband and I selected the castle because it's one of a kind. We really wanted a memorable wedding at an affordable price. We had an outside wedding with an inside reception, chairs and tables were exactly arranged, kitchen perfect for the caterers to do their thing. The (optional) in house dj was great! couldn't have ask for better. Mr. Hinesly was friendly and knowledgeable he really went the distance to please me on my special day

My husband and I had our wedding at the Castle Event Center. The packages was greatly priced. The packages included a picture CD, which was awesome. Mr Hinsley has everything at the venue that you would possibly need. The venue is decorated therefore it does not require additional decoration. Depending on what you are looking for. Prior to our event Mr. Hinsley set up chairs and tables, which was convenient. Our wedding went into the night in the lighting inside and out was beautiful. Through out our event he was helpful in ensuring that the event went smoothly. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Thanks for making our event a memorable day. Victor and Felicia York.

It was hard to find a venue on 10-10-10 and I searched all over Lubbock. By accident I found the castle and couldn't be happier. We had a small private wedding and the size was perfect. Our theme was fairytale which fit perfectly with the castle. Mr. Hinesly was above and beyond providing free photos on a cd of the wedding. Everything went smoothly and he was very liberal and easy to work with on decoration and moving things around. He also rents the tables and chairs at one of the lowest prices in town. Thank you so much! I would love to make this review longer, but as is I'm finding the time between classes. Would definitely recommend.

I had my son's birthday party at the Castle Event Center, and it was spectacular! There is a HUGE indoor pool for all the kids to swim in, a great area outside, perfect for moonwalks, and it was super cheap compared to some of the typical places that cater to kids! The staff was really helpful and super easy to work with. There were enough tables and chairs to make everyone comfortable. I would highly recommend this for any mom wanting to give their child a once in a lifetime birthday!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Castle Event Center in September and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect! I had looked into several venues and they all wanted a ridiculous amount of money for a plain building with no decoration. I looked at the castle and booked it the same day. It has a huuuge dance floor with plenty of seating space around it, beautiful lights that hang over the dance floor, and a separate kitchen. When you walk in the door to the left there is a very pretty waterfall, the walls are stone and have small stone water fountains on them, and at the very back of the room there is a stone fireplace. They also have tables and chairs available at a very cheap price to rent however, we rented our own tables and chairs because I ordered custom linens that wouldn't work on their tables. Overall the Castle is an amazing venue and I would recommend to anyone!! People are still talking about our wedding and how beautiful our venue was and the price was very reasonable!! When we left the venue we did a sparkler send off instead of throwing rice or bubbles and it was absolutely beautiful in front of the castle!!

I dont typically write reviews however this venue I had to voice my opinion of. My wife and I were doing the typical wedding planning and I must say i was really dreading having to pick a location that would live up to my wifes expectations and my monetary limitations. The Castle fit the bill perfectly. Given the amazing structure.....it truly looks like a real CASTLE!! I was terrified of what the cost of having our event there would be. I was shocked at how reasonable of a price we were able to make my wifes dream wedding come true for. This place totally exceeded her every expectation. Driving up you are greeted by an amazing towering stone castle complete with a freaking drawbridge!! Inside the building the floors are beautiful stone with a huge open airy feeling. The ceiling has got to be 20 ft or more up there. There is a dancefloor/ seating area for the reception that can be raised. under the dance floor was an indoor pool. We used the pool to float decorative candle on during the ceremony. We were allowed to have our own caterer and they found the food prep areas to exceed their needs. Before our ceremony we were able to have our photos taken in a fairy godmothers styled carriage (one of my wifes favorite points of our event) I have to say i was extraordinarily happy with my choice to utilize the Castle event center for our wedding. My wife got to have her dream wedding and i got to be her hero by being able to afford such a cool place to have our wedding. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing to make a loved ones dreams come true!!!

Every girl dreams of her fairy tale wedding, but as I searched for the perfect place my dreams seemed to be just that, a dream. There was nothing magical about any place I looked at in Lubbock, and then a friend told me to check out the castle. It was perfect. I had my rehearsal dinner out there, which we were able to bar-b-cue, all the meat, and all sides were brought, we sat up tables outside in the front yard and also had tables set up in the great room, we decorated for a party that night and after everyone was done eating we had the dance floor raised and had a great pool party. On the day of the wedding we had the tables set up on the dance for dinner after the wedding, then the floor was raised, and we floated candles in the pool during the service, it was so beautiful. Every thing I needed, tables, chairs, a place for the caterer's to set up and prepare the food was there, a nursery room with every thing you need to have for a baby of any age. There is a fenced in back yard for children to play and run around so parents don't worry. There is a carriage that would compare with any thing you see find at disneyworld. We hung lights and when the floor was lowered with the tables all set up the guest were in awe. After the dinner was over the dance floor was cleared and the lights were dimmed and it was wonderful, I truly feel you will never find a place that fulfills your dream wedding like this castle does. Every one who attended cannot stop talking about it and I know that some of my friends are planning to have their weddings there and some have had already had birthday and party's there. You will love this place.

My husband and I were looking for something out of the ordinary, and we wanted to manage our costs--the Castle was the answer. The building was beyond beautiful--rock walls, deep red hues, and stone floors, there is an indoor pool we had our guests float candles upon, a kitchen that our caterers (whom we chose) were able to use, and a dance floor that converts to a ceiling for the pool (I know you have to see it to believe it), and a nursery for the babies, all for a better price than we found at any of the traditional venues in town. Mr. Hinesly was great, hands off, but helpful. Our guests were floored. We would do it again in a second!

We had our wedding at the Castle and I can only describe it as a dream come true. Every little girl dreams of having a fairy tale wedding and this was as close as you can get without a fairy god mother. We were married on the drawbridge at the front of the Castle and them had pictures taken in the Cinderella carriage. You really have to see it in person, the pictures on the web don't do it justice. We especially loved the raised dance floor. Being able to pick our own caterer saved us a lot too. I would highly recommend The Castle Event Center to anyone wanting to make their wedding unforgettable.
