This business is full of a bunch of crooks that will say and do anything to get your money then no follow through with what they say they would do! Spent over $6000 with them and couldn't be any more unhappy! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I promise you will regret it!

We ordered $5000 worth of furniture and were told it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Now at 3 MONTHS not weeks we are being told it will be at least another month. They will not let us refund without 25% cancellation fee.

My wife and I went to Ashley's to put some furniture on lay-a-way while our house was being built. Downturn in the oil resulted in us not being able to continue to make large payments and we attempted to cancel some of the items on lay-a-way and keep certain ones that were paid off. First I was told I would be allowed to cancel items but pay a cancellation fee. I was alright with this, it was a large amount. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes, a sales rep came on the line and told me the VP and the President DENIED my order cancellation. Terrible customer service, the lay-a-way contract I signed said no such thing about cancellations not being allowed REGARDLESS OF COST.

Very deceptive program here1st the "free" financing thing. The posted prices are for cash paid in full- then the price changes based on the length of financing needed. For 18 months it's one price for 24 months another higher price. So they just tack on the financing charge to the front end. I'm surprised this is legal - I'll have to look into it. I had a couple of dings on credit report due to a tax issue - they sent my packet to 3 places for approval - I ended up up with 3 different credit lines- 2 from the same company sycon something - then the 3rd was a different name but tied to the 1st 2. And they are charging me an interest rate - at the store told me 10% once set up 29.9% then they tell me 10% was never mentioned. Dosent matter I'll pay it off in 1st month. Point is it's a bait and switch program- on price, financing, delivery- told us 4-6 weeks but its never ever 6 usually 3-4 week 7 starts Monday. they kept us in the store for 5 hours and everyone you talk to them you get different answers - just a dirt ball group in my opinion- go to Bob Mills or find a quality store with good products not this cheap garbage. Just saying!

Not even worthy of one star. This location has the worst business practice I have ever seen. After ordering and paying for a $2800 dining room set, they failed to come through on fulfilling the order as promised. When we went in to inquire about the delivery of our chairs our entire order had been purged from the system and had to be reordered. We asked to just have our money back and they said there was a no money back policy! This is an untrustworthy business. Spend a little more and take your business elsewhere.

I always loved Ashley, I bought a bed back in 09 from Ashley furniture back in San Diego, I loved the bed and mattress and what I paid! Just moved to lubbock to buy a new bed and mattress and it was the worse customer service in here, I swear this town hires anybody and everybody and they don't know how to do simple jobs right! The sales floor people were unfriendly didn't say a word to us upon walking in but stalked us all around the store like keeping a eye. When we finally told them we wanted business they tried screwing us over with trying to get us to spend $2k more than what our limit was. They are only looking out for themselves and not for the customers! They lied to us saying we'd get a free nightstand with this purchase and had us pick out between some and you think we ever got it? Nope called to ask about it, they had no idea what I was talkin f about even though I had our sales person name he denied it all. Just try somewhere else you won't regret it! Plus the furniture now feels kinda flimsy!

I wish I could give this location no stars. They do not communicate with in the store over issues that should be relatively simple to handle. I have spent countless hours on hold trying to get simple service and repair questions answered only to have them take my name and number down to call me back and I never hear from them. The overall quality with the sofa and love seat I bought was poor and had to be repaired within a month of having the pieces. That process is still on going and it started in May! To say that they are unorganized and slow when dealing with these issues is an understatement. Before all I had heard were great things about Ashley furniture but this location is awful! I would strongly recommend that if you are going to pay that amount of money for furniture that you spend it where your experience as a customer will not be ruined immediately after the sale. I have never experienced such poor service and have nothing done to make it right!

Worse customer service

I had the worse experience dealing with a sales man that sold me the wrong size bed. He would not take accountability then the store personnel actually tried to defend his incompetence. This is the worse store and people I had to deal with. Will not return. Still waiting for the right size bed after two weeks

As first time buyers my husband and I were very satisfied with our delivery the guys came in and set up the bed fairly quick. Our sales guy was very helpful, he gave us enough time to look around and decide. We didnt think we'd be approved but he came and told "your approved"! Over all we had a great experience and we love our set! :)

Table n chairs

Will never ever buy anything from this company. They make purchase a protection on furniture. Out table n chairs were delivered scratched up we commented on it. The delivery guys said "no problem call Ashley" we did 4 times no one called us back. Or the phone lines r down. So year later it's not their problem anymore it's the furniture protection. Spoke with them they came out said our furniture was not repairable to reselect... But service coordinator for Lubbock does not listen and wanted to bring out guys for another inspection we didn't need. When u call store they never wanna put a manager on the phone I had to go up there with paperwork showing I was approved for reselect. Very rude staff no one wants to hold accountability for their store never again

bad experience

So I go in on a Wednesday just to look found a bedroom set I fell in love with decided I'm go to apply for in-house credit knowing I would not get approved through the bank. they still ran my credit through the bank unhappy about that. I gave $30 down and provided all of my personal info. Not too mention I started this journey at the open of business time after waiting till about 530 my sales agent came and said on Friday I would need to bring a additional $220 and I could sign the paperwork then. Went back on Friday and come to find out all my personal info had been misplaced including my application. After the order was placed incorrectly into the system I continued to recieve the run around of what parts pieces had already came into the warehouse nobody had a clue what so ever. After waiting 2months I get scheduled a 2 hr window between 1-3 for delivery did not show up untill 9:30pm without any notice. too only receive part of my order and the items I did receive where all damaged and not in boxes. therefor had go back up to the store and get the rest of the stuff order again and waited another 3 weeks. had too pick up the rest of the items myself to realize pieces are still missing. so here I am first payment has already been made and I'm still waiting on the last of my order the braces for my mirror and dresser. I am a very dissatisfied customer and will not make any future purchases with the company at all. if I could I would cancel the entire order because this has been a nightmare shopping experience and a major headache especially for a first time buyer for furniture.

I Would Give Them A Half Of A Star If I Could!

We bought a table and a bed in February and it took forever to get our furniture delivered! When we did finally get it, the table was damaged. They left it with us and said they could replace the damaged part. It's The end of July now and we just got the replacement part BUT it's the wrong part! Then a board on the box spring broke just 3 months after purchase. I'm so unhappy with the quality of the workmanship on both the mattress and box spring. Customer service is terrible! It's like the right hand doesn't talk yo the left! I will never shop there again for furniture. We recently purchased furniture from Bob Mills and we had a much better experience - great quality and selection, low prices, great service! They have our business from now on!

Bait and swap? Got about 4 days???

Ide like to say for the record My sales person was VERY nice,professional, friendly everything a sales person should be! Now the shopping story from H!@#!L My husband and I went in one evening just to look around, of course we found a tv we liked. 50 in plasma so we asked about finance options.... she told us about this great thing where you are automaticaly approved for half your monthly income you pay only $27 down and make 12 payments and they report to your credit, so we are thinking GREAT! she said all we needed was a check stub and a form from the bank verrifing that we have an account! so we go home (36 miles away) and get our stuff together return saturday evening around 5 pm.

Only to wait 2 hrs and THEN be told the credit financing offices were already closed and we couldnt do anything else till Monday! So we go home empty handed. I returned monday morning 10 am .... the bank form was incomplete.... my husband had to leave work get the form re filled out by the bank and fax it. I was told It might take up to 20 mins to get approval.... nearly 45 mins later the come back and ask me for a bank statment and copys of our IDs, my husband had to leave work AGAIN go to the bank and have his Id and statment faxed, here it is 2pm I have to leave to pick up kids from school still no approval!!!! So the store manager gets on the phone and bam Im approved for $400!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING in that store cost $400, However they have this other option I could give then nearly $200 down and pay $150 a month and after Ide given them $4000 then Ide own that T.V.! I think after what they put me thru, all the gas I wasted going back and forth, and all the times my husband had to leave work, Ive earned that T.V. and they should probbaly just give it to me, LOL, but there is NO WAY im giving them $4000 for a $900 T.V.

They should have told me from the start EVERYTHING they needed and been a little more honnest about the approval amounts my husband and I make about $3500 a month we were only approved for $400 you do the math that is NOT half.

I was not at all happy and I dont recomend this store and Im pretty sure that thet used the old bait and swap (illegal)

keep ya in there long enough to make your mouth water for what your wanting to buy then make you jump thru hoops only to tell you oh sory we cant do that after all but if you REALLY want it..........
