I found my cat unable to move, meow, barely breathing.... I called Dr Cook immediately, he said bring her in! We got there and they took 1 look at her and said we are so sorry, we will do all we can but we will call you when she passes. I was devastated! Come to find out she had a uterus infection that leaked through her uterus into her other organs! Dr Cook put her on IV's, antibiotics and did surgery to get all the infection out that he could.... it took a week or so but everyday was better and better! She came home! The price was unbeatable compared to what anyone else would even charge for an office visit!! Absolutely wonderful, genius and caring service! I called everyday to check on Nala, they were so nice! When I moved away from Landisburg it was a con on my list that I'd be too far away to continue going to Dr Cook.

I have been going to Dr Cooks office for over 30 years, and have seen him perform absolute miracles on rescue animals with injuries and illnesses that we thought there was no hope for.
His kindness and caring has been surpassed by none and I have tried many local and not so local vets. He would work farms all morning and be in his office well after midnight explaining to me exactly what was going on with my pet and how to treat it and yes he would copy instruction sheets and medical sheets on the problem for all his customers to read and learn. His office was ALWAYS packed and yes sometimes there was an hour or even two hour wait because no matter who or what animal we all got the same care and compassion no matter what hour.
We all would wait in his office because we knew the care was the best we could get and we knew that if it was our animal emergency he would make others wait for us.
He is up in years now and has slowed down to minimum hours but he is still as kind, loving, and compassionate as he ever was. He still cries with you when a pet has to be laid to rest.
God Bless you Dr Phillip Cook. Thank you for all the miracles you have performed over the years, the countless sacrifices for others and your genuine love of animals. I don't know what we will do without you when that time comes that you retire. The world could learn a lot from you I hope and pray that your clients. neighbors; and friends never forget the sacrifices you have made all these years. I know I never will.....

I would not recommend this vet to anyone. The staff is rude and arrogant to everyone including Dr. Cook. They continually loose files and are extremely unorganized.
