I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH MECHANICS DIRECT FOR 11 YRS, AND GROWING, I JUST HAD ME AND MY FAMILY'S VEHICLES SERVICED AGAIN AS ALWAYS VERY PLEASED ALWAYS MORE FOR YOUR VEHICLE AND ALOT LESS OUT OF YOUR POCKET ! NO ONE IN THE MERRIMACK VALLEY AREA COMES CLOSE TO THE SERVICE THIS BUSINESS PROVIDES,THEY WILL NEVER SELL YOU ANYTHING YOU DON'T NEED (NEVER) SINCERELY THANK YOU AGAIN TO THE MECHANICS DIRECT FAMILY , AND CREW ! I have been going to Mechanics Direct for 16 years and have always had a great experience! I currently own a 2010 Honda Accord and before that I owned a 1999 Toyota Camry and they have helped me keep them running in tip top condition.

In addition, when needed they give me a list of priorities, so that I know if something is a safety issue that should be addressed right away or if something can wait.

Compared to the dealership, I have saved a lot of money over the years and I feel that they are more thorough and treat my car like it was their own.

In all my years of going there, I have always felt that they are honest and friendly with a great staff. I highly recommend Mechanics Direct for great service and price!

I have been using Mechanics Direct for over ten years and am always satisfied with the service provided. Mitch is honest and his prices are fair. Unlike at other places, when Mechanics Direct fixes your car it is done right the first time. I have used other mechanics where they fix your car and then a week later some other 'related' part breaks. This has never happened with Mitch. Additionally, he doesn't pad the bill with other stupid stuff or unnecessary services. If he tells you it's needed, get it done, you can trust him. Mitch advises me of what must be corrected right now, and anything that can wait is noted in my file. By far the best place to go if you want peace of mind. I can't say enough good things about Mechanics Direct.

BEWARE!!! Do not bring your car to Mechanic Direct in Lowell, MA on Middlesex St. Service is unreliable and the owner Mitchell is a CROOK. They provide you with dishonest, cheating, and lying services. When I brought my car in, they said that there was a free diagnostic check. Turns out the 2nd diagnostic check was NOT free. Surprisingly, they charge me $140.38. I was so angry that I did not proceed with the repair. They gave me a quote of $556.00 if I changed my mind.



Stupid of me, I changed my mind. The only reason why I changed my mind was because there was no Lexus Dealer/repair shop close to my home. The nearest one was 1 hr away, not including traffic. I work full time, go to school part time, raising a 4 years old, and that it is not convenient for me. Plus I already paid $140.38 for that diagnostic fee. Next time, I am going to suck it up and drive to Danvers, MA. Mechanic Direct also mailed me a 10% coupon to entice me to come in. This is part of their trick, and game plan.



To cut it short, they fix my car. They gave me a hassle about giving me a ride back and fort, knowing that my child’s car seat is in that car. When it came to paying for the service they overcharge me $574.75. I argued that I got a quote for $556.00, and Derrick, the technician, said it was okay for me to use the 10% coupon when I brought my car in before it got repaired. This place is a joke. They find every way to screw you over to make money. I paid the bill, because I did not want to argue in front of my 4 years old son. If I am taking time to write this horrible review, you know this place SUCKS.
