Provided by SuperpagesAs I understand it, they're no longer operated by the same owners but there is a new owner now with serious cooking & restaurateur experience - hence the new name Fooddy Goody. "Foody" being the term for someone who enjoys good cuisine. Last time I ordered Chinese Ribs there, the kitchen was bustling and my food came out fast, fresh and generously portioned. Prices are reasonable too and comparable with other Chinese restaurants. I haven't dined in but the dining space is elegant and I could see myself eating there on a date with my wife. Once they get their license to serve liquor, this should be the place to hang out in North-central Lowell!

Provided by SuperpagesOk, as a local, I usually buy from China Star in Lowell. When I got the menu for Grace Garden, I figured I would give it a try since it was on the way home from work. I have to say, we have our new Chinese restaurant. The food was great, and the proportions were fantastic for the price. I know someone already commented on it being expensive, but I found it was cheaper for the quantity of food received. I got the General Gao, which was cooked just right, with pork fried rice. My wife got Pad Thai Combo plate with chicken teriyaki, which had a ton of meat and was "awesome" in her words. We also got chicken fingers, which were cooked right, and beijing ravioli, which were big, but didn't go overboard on dough, which was good. If you drive home through the bridge and rotary in Lowell, this is right next to the CVS, easy for pickup. I highly recommend.

Provided by SuperpagesRecently tried Grace Garden for the first time. Was extremely disappointed. The food had a different smell to it, and had a very odd taste to it, sort of a "mustiness" smell and taste. Ever buy that prepackaged lettuce or cabbage at the supermarket, where sometimes it seems to pick up the smell of the plastic bag, and loses its own flavor and smell?? That's how it tasted! And the prices were high, compared to all of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. Definitely will not eat there again!

Provided by SuperpagesFound this new Chinese Restaurant and really enjoyed the food there. Great food with generous portion. Great friendly service. Must try the dim sum dishes. The Hong Kong style dishes are the real Hong Kong style taste. Very well done.
