Love it! Free gift wrap - personal service - local - the best

I love this store! The toys sold here are what I call "real" toys. You will not find Barbie, Sponge Bob, Barney, and all that other junk here. You will find Melissa and Doug and Alex brands and toys that encourage all the good kind of play we want our kids to have. The shop has a good feel to it and the people are very nice and helpful. For example, having no boys in my family to buy for, I was stuck when it came to buying a b'day gift for my daughter's boy friend. I went to Playthings and asked what would be good for a 3-year-old boy and they led me to many choices. This is always my first stop when it comes to buying toys.

I love this store. It has a great selection of interesting and different toys. Additionally there are some great oldies but goodies. It is fun to visit, kids can try things out and play a bit. The employees are the greatest. Friendly, helpful and did I mention the free gift wrap. This lovely little shop is an oasis in the desert of retail mediocrity.

Well selected merchandise, reasonably priced, great knowledge of stock, help and advice easily available, great suggestions for gifts. Very customer oriented and friendly.
