The residents of this city, strive to make their city ,safe, attractive and friendly for all residents.They have an excellent Mayor and city council who welcome and try very hard to comply with residents complaints and concerns. All input is welcome .One of the oldest subdivisions in the county it also has historical value .In the past Plantation swim club hosted many national swim meets. No longer a swim club it is now a Tennis/ Racquet club. Plantation is located close to the best shopping areas in Louisville . and is close to Hurstbourne Lane Corridor; which connects E/W Louisville.Surrounded by more expensive real estate Plantation is unique and affordable with new housing and with many and many neighborhood projects under way.Centrally Located within the eastern part of Jefferson county, convenience is a given , The city council has open monthly meetings for residents.Great place to Live!!!
