Sadly, Kiddie Kastle in Louisville is not a local business that I will support again in the future. Our issues with this store and whether we would ever receive our furniture, quickly became a nightmare. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant when we initially ordered the furniture and today our baby is 5 months old. As of today it has been 9 months since our initial order. Our initial furniture collection was out of stock (we found out by calling the store after waiting close to10 weeks, they never initiated this call), and we had to switch to a different collection. This new collection came in (one item at a time, lots of driving as we lived an hour away), however the nightstand was missing. Finally we were told she couldn't get the nightstand and she tried to match it closely to a different collection (only she matched it to our first collection, not the actual furniture we have). Needless to say, it did not match. The store owner at this point was not willing to help anymore, and sent us a name of someone who could refinish this new nightstand, at our expense. Not to mention the nightstand that came in was a cheaper version of the furniture we were supposed to receive, but the owner was trying to charge us the same price as the more expensive collection. Is this how they repay customers that have been waiting 9 months? We felt that there was a true lack of concern for us from the store owner Pam & employee Diane, as we rarely received updates from them on our furniture status, nor did they ever take the time to return our phone calls. Toward the end while we were waiting on the nightstand, Pam the owner told me to "Relax and enjoy my baby... as the nightstands were not an intrical part of a baby nursery." This coming from a furniture store owner? The condescending & negative attitudes from this store, toward myself and my husband has been most definitely the worst customer service experience, I have ever witnessed. Delete review

We purchased a Maxtrix low loft bed and no where in Louisville can you find a better group of people selling furniture. I went to haverty's and Ashley's and couldn't find anyone to help us or anything that we liked. Going to Kiddie kastle, we found a great lady that owned the store. She spent time with us and was very friendly. We weren't sure what would work best in the long run for our son, but she talked us through the good and bad and the conversation was very valuable. We ordered the next day. The furniture has since come and was delivered and we absolutely love it. The store is well laid out for those looking for infants through adults. They also have toys, chairs, lamps, etc.

I was in the store on June 2, 2013 with my 6 year old twins. One of my twins is autistic. The owner who was my sales person was just so incredibly helpful, nice and had good knowledgeable base regarding her furniture she carry... In furniture in general. The prices are actually good for the high quality of the furniture. I double check the prices when I left compare to wholesale price it was actually fair price. I took up 3 hours of her time. What I like the most it was no pressure to buy even after I took up 3 hours of her time. I also felt like she care about me and my children and wanted to know what are needs was. Hell.. I wish she sell adult furniture. She also has layway available too which is a plus as well. This is children's furniture that will last for a long time.

Nice baby furniture and nice prices. I really liked the way we were treated. The crib and dresser came in after about 1.5 months and everything was there and momma is happy :-)

No one seems to care as much about the customer as they do at Kiddie Kastle. We shopped for baby furniture several places and visited Kiddie kastle twice and met with several different sales people each time. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. We discussed prices and they were more than accomodating to make us happy. There are a lot of places in Louisville to shop and lots of styles, but kiddie kastle has the best service and attitude. I suggest that everyone reading this and needing baby furniture, look here first and then compare..

Pretty good! Lots of attention and no pressure to buy anything. Prices were better than other stores we looked at. I would recommend this store for kids and baby furniture. The people were very nice to my wife and I, so my day went really well! lol :)

Great store. Great people. I would recommend Kiddie Kastle over the other kid's stores in the area.

We just received our Maxtrix bed system for our son and are ecstatic. Living in a small home, space is a premium and the people at Kiddie Kastle went out of their way to make sure we got the right item. With the storms we've had this spring, I was contacted about our furniture and how it may be delayed and it worked in our favor, as it arrived after our vacation and the delivery/setup person did an outstanding job with install. I feel like I more than got my $ worth and will recommend Kiddie Kastle in the future. There is an openess in communication between the owners, staff and customers that is lacking in most retail today. Thank you!

Ordered a Maxtrix Loft Bed for my daughter. Complete with ladder and tent. The delivery guys that delivered and set up the bed didn't know what they were doing and left the bed partially assembled. The Owner's husband showed up shortly thereafter and completed the assembly. The whole time apologizing for the contractor's that obviously didn't work out. I guess this is one reason to buy from a small local business. I cannot imagine an owner coming out on a Saturday night to save the day. My daughter was thrilled and so were we. I will continue shopping at Kiddie Kastle and will recommend it to all my friends.

Kiddie Kastle showed us wonderful service and the prices were quite good considering the styling and quality of what we were buying. They were all very polite and helpful and we purchased a complete nursery (crib, dresser, hutch, changer and chest for less than $2700).We thought this was very good by comparison to other stores in the area. The sales girl told us our furniture would be in within 8 to 12 weeks and it arrived right at 8 weeks. We chose to have it delivered and set up and this also went very well. They took all the trash away and all we had to do was polish the carton dust off. They also had a coupon we printed on line and they had no problem giving us a free mattress because of the quantity of our order.Kiddie Kastle was a true pleasure to do business with and I highly recommend them.

Customer service was awful! The owner never returned our phone calls. We always had to contact them about our furniture. It seems to me that Kiddie Kastle doesn't care about expectant parents at all and only about making money on products that are overly priced. Dealing with Kiddie Kastle was a stressful experience.

My husband and I spent over an hour at Kiddie Kastle. Thye helped us pick furniture that suited our taste and budget and then helped us coordinate bedding and accessories.I found the people at Kiddie Kastle better than anyone at the other stores we shopped at.They were not nearly as helpful or knowledgeable. We felt no pressure and it was a very friendly and pleasant experience. We were told the furniture might take up to 12 weeks to arrive, but it actually came in half that time. Their warehouse is not too far away and is also an outlet where they sell the same furniture at a lower price. The only difference is that those pieces are usually discontinued.I highly recommend this store!
