Galen College in Louisville is extremely disorganized and the administration is very unconcerned about their students. Staff is arrogant, at times bordering on rude. I would not recommend the school.

I strongly recommend researching other colleges before attending Galen. Currently a student and not happy at all. Policies change all the time and a lot of the time with no notice to the students. As LPNs most of your clinicals will NOT be at hospitals. 95% are at nursing homes. Be prepaired to teach yourself. There are however a Few good instructors that care about teaching you to the fullest. I really feel I am not getting what I have paid for. Way over priced for an education that you can get cheaper at a local college or online. PLEASE research before attending Galen. Also be aware that LPN credits do not transfer if you are not satisfied with Galen and you will lose out on all that money that you have invested.



This review area asks for you to describe how the buisness could improve. My suggestion to Galen is to Listen to the students that are currently enrolled and do something with thier suggestions. If you get a whole class of bad reviews on an instructor. Think about replacing that instructor or sit in on the class to see WHY all the students are not satisfied with that instructor.



I believe if Galen cared about the students as much as they do about the Students hard earned money than Galen could be a great college
