Apparently the store it open at 10am on Saturday And I've been waiting at least 5-10 minutes nobody shows up. They are late. And they should stop making business

RUN AWAY!! CELL PHONE MORTUARY MORE LIKE IT

On July 16 I called The Cell Phone Doctor and explained that I had just left Sprint, my cell carrier and my Samsung Galaxy S6 had been in the technician department and passed all tests except corrosion on the battery charger. The phone would power on and display the carrier logo then shut off after the beep for low battery. I was told by my cell carrier I could turn in a lain against my insurance with a 200 deductible. After explaining this to the girl that answered she said for 75 dollars they would replace the part. They took a 35 dollar deposit she said would first be used to run a diagnostic on the phone to make sure that was all that was wrong and the 35 would go towards the 75 dollar part. The day after I dropped my phone off I got a call from the owner who said that "I have good news and bad news.The good news is your charger terminal works but your LTD screen is cracked and it will be 200 dollars to replace." I immediately called them back and left a voice mail that this was impossible as I had the service records from my cell carrier and I had a witness that saw the phone screen power on prior to dropping off the phone with Cell Phone Doctor. I called again and finally got someone first thing in the morning and was told they would have someone else look at it. Again was told charging terminal worked and lcd was cracked. I immediately drove in to get my phone from them and there was a new cracked they tried to tell me was there all along which is a lie. The phone would have never turned on before I dropped it off had it been broken on the lcd. Also the charging terminal still does not work. The owner was argumentative and said he would not pay to fix my phone. I took it to another place who said they commonly fix phones after they come from this place and despite The Cell Phone Doctor lying and saying they did not take my phone apart and broke it. This place found evidence they did in fact open the phone and break it. A review of other complaints here at Bbb show the same type of complaint with the same type of response from the company that they would not fix. Also a Google of yelp and other reviews of this company have a wide range of these same type of complaints with one even stating that a customer was put in a choke hold. This place needs to be stopped.

I can't believe such a big Rough exists in US and doing business without any problem. They are liers and running a scam shop. You can see 5 star rating in previous reviews but all these reviews are paid reviews. They used to pay $5 for 5 star repiew on google. I was there for phone repair. They told that it could be battery problem and we need to order battery to fix this thats why we will charge $35. I told them even if it is not battery problem even then I need that new battery. They were agree and only then I was agree to pay. They took two weeks and after that they told that we could not fix your phone and new battery in the phone. I asked for new battery recipt but they dont had. At home when I checked my phone it had old battery which was pasted permanently(I had battery no.). It was never removed. I have doubt they have even opened the phone or not...

I dropped off my Iphone 5 after taking it first to the apple store in the mall and the Cell Phone Dr fixed it when the apple store didn't. It just needed a new battery.Cost $37.10 with tax to check it out and replace the battery. Works fine now. I dropped it off in the afternoon picked it up at 5:30 the next evening.

I busted the LCD screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Cell Phone Doctor did a great job repairing the screen.



On their website it says, "Some of the most common problems we see are water damage issues and cracked screens. We can solve both of these issues quickly. In fact, if you drop your phone off to us by 3 PM, we'll have it fixed and ready to go by 5 PM the next day."



But when I went into the store they had me sign a form that said that I recognized that they do NOT guarantee that I'd get my phone back the next day even though I dropped it off at 10am, the moment they opened the store; so their policy seems to be different than what their site claims.



And in fact my phone was not done by 5pm the next day, so I had to wait another 24 hours. Because of this discrepancy between their advertising and their actual policy I will only rate this place with 4 stars.



But, other than this inconvenience, the fix was done perfectly. The price was slightly higher than I had seen at the kiosk deal in the mall, but they can take up to 2 weeks. So overall, I would definitely recommend this place over the kiosk.



My repair was done in January, 2015.

was given one price for a Droid repair, even in writing from the technician- was told they couldn't honor the price and it was DOUBLE the written estimate and equal to the price of buying a new phone. Horrible business ethics and practice. Avoid at all costs!

HORRIBLE! Dropped off our IPhone 5S for screen replacement and they ruined it! Tried to tell me it wasn't turning on or charging, took it somewhere else and come to find out their tech pulled out piece that he shouldn't have and ruined the mother board.

Dishonest business. Took my phone in for repair, a simple repair, a broken charging port. Not only did they hold my phone for days and did not fix the problem on the spot, they claimed they tried two new charging ports in my phone and neither worked and that my motherboard was dead. FALSE. I took my phone to iTech Solutions on Preston Highway and the gentlemen there informed me of what "Cell Phone Doctor" did to my phone. They burned the inside of my phone with faulty tools and did not use the right kind of usb ports. They essentially melted my slide out keyboard trying to do their "repair". ITech managed to fix my phone but could not repair some damage that Cell Phone Doctor did. There are a couple of buttons on my keyboard that do not work anymore. Be smart - do your research, and never go here. Go to ITech. Let this terrible place go out of service.

Horrible experience, the techs they go thru don't know how to do there job. Took a month to get my phone back n got no call saying it was ready for pick up I had to call them. If I could give any less of a rating I would. Avoid this place they send it off to someone else to repair your device n don't check to make sure they have the parts needed to repair it in the "2 day repair time" F##K THIS PLACE!!! Extremely unhappy with this place

I have been here twice. Both times I left mad with a still non working cell phone. I have no problem that they couldn't fix my phone, but both times they took my number, gave me a time it would take to fix and told me they would call when they were done. Neither time did anyone call and when I finally went back they said they couldn't fix it. The second time I took it somewhere else and it was repaired in an hour. I will NEVER go back! Don't know how to rate zero stars so I am giving it one.

So my friend when it to the location on shelbyville today on 8/6/12 he had been working on his htc one x to fix the screen for over a month.,The store could not fix the phone and they damaged it further when my friend become upset because they would not stand by their warrenty the Owner proceded to Put my friend in a CHOKE HOLD, tried to strangle him and threw him out of the store. Police were called, charges being filed. Needless to say BUYER BEWARE of this business!!!!

Very unpleasant experience. Brought my phone in with a broken LCD display. They looked up the phone and the part, said they said they could repair it, have it ready the following afternoon, and that they would call me by 3:00 to let me know it was ready. Before I left the store I put a $35.00 deposit down on a $100 service charge. Three o’clock comes and goes. No phone call. I call them at 3:30. They don’t know its status, but would call the technician to find out and call me back within 5 to 10 minutes. Half an hour later I call them back. They still don’t know the status – but will call me shortly. When they did finally call, it was to tell me that, sorry, but the part they need is obsolete and no longer available, and that I can pick up my phone, unrepaired, at 5:30. Ok, stuff like this happens. I get there at 5:30. No phone. The guy’s on his way from the repair shop. 5:45. Still no phone. I leave to pick up my kid and come back at 6:15. Phone is finally there. So is the owner. I ask for my $35 deposit back. He refuses and tells me to look at the contract I signed yesterday which states that the service charge for un-repairable phones is not refundable because it takes time for their technician to take the phone apart and determine what’s wrong with it. Fine, I say, but your technician didn’t even touch my phone because the part was unavailable. Sorry, he says. No refund. He was kind enough to offer me a discount on one of the repaired phones that they sell. Thanks so much. My advise – stay far, far away from this place. Very unprofessional. Definitely not customer service oriented.
