- Camp Hendon operates a week-long camping program for children between the ages of 8 - 17 with Type 1 diabetes. We serve children throughout Kentucky and the surrounding region. Need-based financial assistance is available. Camp Hendon also offers a family retreat weekend, allowing the whole family to join in the diabetes camping experience.
