Provided by YP.comBryant unfairly misled me to believe that the part I needed was hard to find and expensive either to facilitate the purchase of a new furnace or to inflate the cost of the repair. Using these types of deceptive sells tactics to intentionally mislead a customer is a very dishonest way to do business.
They don't seem interested at all about quality customer service. They are only interested in charging the highest amount possible for every service call and are willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen. Please do your research and check with other companies before you decide to use Bryant. I promise it will be worth your time.

Bryant doesn't seem interested at all about quality customer service. They are only interested in charging the highest amount possible for every service call they go on. If they can't talk you into buying a new air conditioner or furnace the cost of the repair is going to be outrageous. Please do your research and check with other companies before you decide to use Bryant. I promise it will be worth your time.

Provided by YPmobileCalled for service on my furnace..I thought the pilot light was out..The tech tells me that the motor is locked up and in his opinion I should replace my whole system. after looking at my furnace for around 10 minutes tops. I was about to take out a loan of $5000-$6000 dollars to replace system. I decide to get a second opinion from a hometown company....this tech REALLY finds what the problem is....a squirrel had gone down my chimney and got stuck in the pipe where the motor is. he removes the squirrel blows our the dust and now MY FURANCE RUNS JUST FINE. Same amount of time spent checking things, but the hometown guy actually checked to see what the issue was not just shine a flashlight in the furnace and scare the living daylights out of me with these prices....sooooo disappointed in Bryant thought you guys were a good company...not so much. I'm out $105 actually when you wanted THOUSANDS....never again I've learned my lesson

Provided by YP.comI guess it's true; when people want to complain, they don't hesitate. When they're pleased with the service, they simply get on with their lives. We woke up on Saturday morning to see it was 80 degrees in our house (despite the AC being on). A Bryant rep was out to diagnose the issue within two hours, and was able to order and install the necessary part (a power supply board that was apparently damaged by lightning during a recent storm) the following day. Very pleased with the ownership of our problem and the professionalism of the repair service and people, and feel the cost was well within reason.

Do not use this business they took the Adams family in Fairdale for $10,119.00 for a 3 ton condenser and a coil but did not change out the furnace, which means the unit they installed will never reach its high efficiency level. The Adams family are in their late 70's and had to finance this unit for 5 years, now they can not afford to eat. Bryant Heating and Cooling are CROOKS and will screw you every way they can. I am a Certified General Contractor for over 40 years and I know my stuff, Bryant did not pull a permit for this work and this is BREAKING the LAW in code enforcement and is a $500.00 fine to them. Always get three estimate's when dealing with Bryant. The building department is for your protection, the inspectors make sure that the work was done correctly. Bryant will tell you, you do not need a permit which is a lie, you do need a permit. Seniors Please beware, Ronnie was their salesman and you should stay clear of him.

Provided by YP.comStay far far AWAY!
The control board went bad on my 20 year old furnace. They recommended replacing my furnace and provided quotes ranging from $5876 80%, $6518 90% or $7443 98% and they could put it in today. I told the tech that I would have to check prices with other companies. He became upset with and left. My heat would not work at all after he left.I then called Sterling heating and air and they came right out and explained the benefits of each system and mad a recommendation to me based on my square footage. Their quote was $2313 with a new thermostat And filter system. They also fixed what the Bryant guy messed up and got my heat working again temporarily. Bryant has ZERO customer service!

Told me I should install a new system instead of paying $900 to fix the old one.Only year later I had do exactly that , because the coil on the new system broke and labor warranty had expired. They never told me they had not provided with extended warranty. The house won't get cold. They kept coming back and patching things up but the house still won't get cold. Will never do business with them again.

Provided by YP.comCalled Bryant heating and cooling co on 7/17/14. Ac was not blowing cold, lady on the phone said a tech would be there in a hour or so and they was. When the tech showed up I turned the ac on in the house. I walk outside and tell him the line was froze yesterday so I turned the unit off . He says there is no freon so I ask him how much does it hold he said 10 pounds. He then tells me I have a hole, he said I can put in freon at $75 a pound. I ask can you find the hole he said it would be $166 to check for the hole. I then ask how long would the freon last he said he didn't know. He said he could put in 4 pounds of freon. He said the unit is old, I told him it was replaced in 2004 he then said it was a cheap one he recommended to replace the whole unit for $3400 I told him to forget it and paid him the $58 fee for coming. I then called Robbins heating and air they came out the next morning inspected the unit checked the freon level and told me I was 1 pound shy of what it needed. They put in a pound of freon washed out the unit I have ice cold ac once again. Bryant was going to get me for 4 pounds of freon at $75 a pound plus $166 for looking for a leak. BEWARE of BRYANT HEATING AND COOLING the tech was Ronnie.

Provided by YPmobileNeeded our AC repaired, told we needed a new one. Probably did.
Installed incorrectly first time. 2nd repair tech came to look. "yup it's put in wrong". Next day 2 more installers come to fix. "wow, you didn't pay for this mess". Took care of it after 4 visits, and 10 hours. What a joke. I can't get a VP to return a call. I guess they have my money and don't care!
Save your time and headaches.

Provided by YP.comNot to be trusted, as far as I am concerned they are criminals. My mother called them just to have the A/C checked, she is 80 years old and as most at that age are, a bit gullible. Bryant service technician played on her fears and convinced her the furnace AND air conditioner were shot and gave her a price of almost $11,000 dollars to replace and talked her into a deposit check of 10%. It;s a 70,000 btu gas furnace and a two ton A/C.....$11,000????? When I found out I called another company and had them come and and check the unit, they found absolutely nothing wrong with the furnace or air conditioner. Beware, they are crooks. They do not deserve even the one star rating but you have to click on at least one.

Provided by YPmobileI should have listened to my neighbor about using this company.....they replaced my circuit board and then it kept messing up the igniters after replacing three igniters we found out they put the wrong circuit board on, after calling and explaining the problem we were told we would get a call back well we never did !!! I had to go to the business to talk to someone and when I did they said they would replace the circuit board but not the igniters. I would not recommend this company to no one !!!!

Provided by YP.comI would not recommend Bryant Heating and cooling to anybody,Way, over priced, I would strongly suggest for anyone before you sign a contract, get other estimates. That was my big mistake we were caught by cold weather and needed heat and had not bought a furnace in 17 years, also after the installation i had to repaint my closet doors and trim work. I called to place a complaint, it took four days to get a return call. Very, Very dissatisfied ,

Provided by YP.comI had a problem with my a/c during the hottest part of the year. I have a child who was cooking with the 104 temp in the house. I had a service tech from bryant out to look at it. He replaced a burnt out capacitor, but at the same time he told me that my freon level was too high. So he opened the valve and let it out into the air. I gave it two days to cool down, when it didn't I called him back. This time he was a no-show for three days. Eventually he wouldn't return my calls. He charged me $80 for this, and I find out that it was a side job. He cashed the check using his wifes name. I will never tell anyone to use this company.

Provided by YP.comOur furnace went out on Jan 9 and my landlady gave me permission to call Bryant. The service tech came out, talked to the landlady, and got permission to do the job the following day. The service call was $60, which was to be included in the total price of the job - several hundred dollars. However, before he left, the tech said his boss had told him he had to collect the money for the service call. My landlady lives almost an hour away, so he suggested I write a check to cover the service call and he would void it when my landlady paid the bill the following day.
On January 10, the repair crew came out. My landlady asked them, via phone, if she could pay the bill at their main office, which she did during her lunch. Again, that was supposed to include the $60 service call & I inquired of the crew about voiding the check. They knew all about it and assured me that it would be taken care of.
They took care of it alright. Three days AFTER my landlady paid the bill in full, including the service call, they deposited my check. I'm almost 60 and have no income. I have very little money in my account and now it's overdrawn and I've been charged $25 for the bounced check. I feel very, very deceived. Plus, I have no money for anything until next week - and Monday's a holiday.
They lied and stole my money. Don't let them steal from you.
