Excellent to work with. Straight up and honest with cost and what you actually need updating. They don't add on extras to pad their bill. Very friendly, caring, and clean workers. They put up with all my questions and never made me feel stupid or as if I was a bother. Even the receptionist was AAA+++ when I initially called in for a estimate. She took the time to get all of my concerns and needs down to ensure great service. From beginning to end. Which ended up being a day and a half of work. The electrician was spot on with any question and very knowledgeable. Would recomend them to friends and family any day of the week. They are tops!!!

Misrepresented dispatch fee vs diagnostic fee.
Beware of a $49 fee. This does NOT include any diagnostics. Unless the homeowner can tell the electrician exactly what is needed (i.e. bad plug, light fixture, etc.) the minimum diagnostic fee is $319, plus the $49 dispatch fee. The technician was at our rental property less than one hour and the charges were $368.

I will not be using Allen Electric in the future.

Call around and be certain you understand the minimum diagnostic fee.

Same experience as Sue P. They would not quote any type of price except $49 dispatch fee then tried to charge an additional $319 fee just to say what would be wrong. Sent them packing. The fee is the same no matter what type or how big your property is that is being serviced. Very unethical.

Tony Brewer from Allen electric did a fantastic job. We called on him twice to do jobs that required extensive hours of work. Tony was professional, friendly and competent. He completed the jobs and called to make sure we were satisfied. We are very happy with the work Tony did and we will use Allen Electric again.

Allen Electric was fabulous and everyone was so friendly to work with. James, the Service Manager, got the job done in a super fast time and was great to work with as well as Nicole who answers the phones and helps to schedule appointments. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again if I ever need an electrician!
