Worst experience ever for my sister’s wedding 9/1/18. We ordered $200 dresses from her catalog after a day of trying on. Each dress had $20 in shipping. Plus tax the dresses were over $230 and they took a month to get in. 3/4 of the bridesmaids (including myself) came in from out of state. She took our measurements after trying on the sample dresses for ordering the real ones. Now the fun begins: I get in the Tuesday before the wedding to try the dress on and it’s THE WRONG DRESS. She then tries to blame us for the mistake saying we were debating between two. That’s all well and good, but we decided on one and she ordered the wrong one. The dresses are not only wrong, but she ordered them a size-two sizes TOO BIG. Why did you take our measurements if only to order the dresses too big? One of our ladies is normally a size 6-8 and she had a 10. She had to clip me into the dress she ordered for me. She wanted to charge us an extra $100 for alterations because she had to alter them so much. Out of the kindness of her heart, she waved the alteration fees as an apology for ordering the wrong dress. It doesn’t end there... we got the dresses on Friday before the wedding and tried them on again: all of our dresses were choking us because she took them in too much. I was apparently too much of a jerk in store for being upset with her that when we got them re-altered to not choke us, she didn’t fix mine. I had to wear my dress unhooked as much as possible to be able to breathe and move comfortably. That’s my experience. Go if you want, but be forewarned of my horror story.

I am so pleased we were referred to Donna’s shop, A Bride’s Dream for alterations. Only regret I have is not knowing about her shop before I bought a dress. I already bought the prom dress somewhere else and she was just as professional and caring with her dress as if we had bought the dress in her shop. My daughter is plus size and everywhere we went to treated her as such and seemed to be bothered when helping us. Donna treated my daughter no different than the size 4 customer that was before us. We were even told where we bought the dress that alterations were not needed even though we specifically asked for straps to be added. Donna shortened the dress by two inches, which was needed, and added the straps without hesitation. They even made the straps just as beautiful as they were functional. The dress is a princess style dress with many layers and a corset back. She took the time to show me how to straighten the layers evenly and to tie the corset properly.. Excellent prices and outstanding customer service is the reason Donna’s shop will be the only place I ever shop for a formal dress for any reason from this point forward as well as alterations of any kind.

Thanking God for deliverance from an evil spirit that would cause me to flip out!



I want to inform any and every one that Mrs. Donna has such a kindred spirit & I appreciate her help... BUT if you plan to shop at A Brides Dream, just make sure that you speak with Mrs. Donna (the owner) of any questions, comments or concerns before purchasing anything & please thoroughly inspect your item(s) before & after alterations. I advise that you & Mrs. Donna have a clear understanding before you give her a dime. I initially gave our 1st experience 5 Stars, but due to our recent interactions I had to re-evaluate things and expose how our experience has changed... Please read below.



Dated 04/11/2013- I must state that we are now disappointed. The beginning experience was great & we took such a liking to Mrs. Donna, but after picking up the dress from alterations we were informed then it was a consignment dress due to noticing the grass stains. & now we see where there is more beading needed in places on the dress that just have strings hanging from it. I do place the blame on myself for not noticing the grass stains, but I know for a fact that I was not informed that this dress was a consignment dress & I was assured that all the beading would be replaced. Due to the fact that my sister lives 4 hours away, we purchased the dress on the spot and the actual prom date, we will now have to seek assistance elsewhere to ensure my sister has a decent dress for prom. This once thought completed journey of finding the perfect prom dress is now a Nightmare! Not only will we have to spend more money, (that is not in our budget) but it leaves a sour taste in ones mouth about having a great experience at A Brides Dream and then it turning out to be the total opposite.









Dated: 04/04/2013-A God sent place! My sister and I were looking for the perfect prom dress for her and within our budget... Praise God that we found A Bride's Dream because it was our last resort since we had been to several different cities looking for that dress that my sister was dreaming about. I Thank God that we found it and that Mrs. Donna was willing to make the alterations my sister was requesting! Thanks Mrs. Donna and staff for a wonderful experience and an Awesome Prom Dress... We look forward to visiting you all soon :)

THE EXPERIENCE I HAD WAS AWESOME!! I went to A Brides Dream to look at pageant dresses.(My friend Juliauna told me about it!) I was assisted with finding dresses by my Ms.Donna and another member of staff. She helped me find georgous dresses! i loved most of the dresses but I limeted myself to two dresses! Ms.Donna showed me two dresses that I looked at on the hanger and said "No I dont want to try it on." Both of those dresses are the dresses I choose to buy! The customer service was amazing! I couldnt believe people at a bridle store could be so nice! Ms.Donna will definatly see me again! She was so nice she was not rude or she did not urge us to buy the dress. I have seen other comments that say "The service was terrible!" or "Ms.Donna is so rude and cheap!" Ms.Donna is a nice women and I know she would never mess up a dress on purpose and charge to fix it.

Terrible experience! Do not waste your time, money & patience on keeping this business alive. The most frustrating is how rude and unprofessional the owner is. I have no idea how she stays in business. It took ALL of my patience to deal with her. The alternation charges were outragous and were hidden (not included in total balance due that was presented) and the workmanship was terrible. Just awful! I should have just gone to the mall.

I come to a Brides Dream for all of my homecoming dress and prom dress needs, Mrs.Donna is so nice! She really helped me find my perfect dress that fit me & my personality. She also catered my 16th birthday party back in december and she did a great job. I reccomend to all of my friends and family whenever they need a dress for any occasion.

I was so stressed looking for the perfect bridal gown!! I walked into the shop and a wonderful chippery lady named Lynn greeted me with a smile and said It's gonna be okay!!! Not only did she ease my anxiety she gave me free tips on bridesmaid attire at a fraction of the cost. I walked away with the perfect Bridal Gown and a friend for life!!! The gowns are beautiful and the shop can order any designer gown not available. Thanks for making my Big Day so easy!!!

You need to shop this AWESOME boutique! Donna and her staff are WONDERFUL!



I have purchased 4 gown from Donna and have be blessed to have her do last minute alterations for my daughter's from gowns to dance costumes. Her prices are amazing and the one of a kind cumter service that we recieve is unique!



I have been to other dress shops and have been let down by high price and bad service. I will contine to ONLY shop at A Brides Dream for all of my daughters pageant gowns, school dance dresses and all of our steamstress needs!



I have read the the other review listed and in plain sight they state that there was a misunderstanding on the customer's part and Donna went above and beyond to make things right and it shows they also have made other reviews on this site.. Hmmmm makes a wise person think.



In closing if you need the perfect gown at the persfect price and OUTSTANDING customer service then this should be your first stop and I promise it will be your last!

"WARNING" The experience I had with A Bride's Dream LLC was byfar the worst i've ever had ordering a bridesmaid dress. My best friend is getting married, and i'm the maid of honer. I ordered my dress a bright yellow....it came back a very dull yellow."not even close to the same color as what I ordered and the same lady Donna was right there the whole time." So we reordered the dress, and she acted like "very rudely" the mistake was my fault. When WE picked it out together. Donna told me that because of the mistakes that she would pay for the dress to be reordered, as well as the alteration fee, but I would have to pay the original shipping & handling charge. I was content at that point, everyone makes mistakes. My dress came today and when I got there she wasn't there, she had to be called in. WHen she finally got there she very rudely said, I want my $29.99 for shipping & handling before she even showed me the dress. I insisted that I see the dress and try it on first. Inturn I recieved more rude treatment. Once I had the dress on, she came in snd said she can take the bustline in. Then when I mentioned that it needed to be hemmed she said I had to pay extra"even though she said alterations were free because of her color mistake." DO NOT GO TO A BRIDES DREAM LLC if you want professional, courteous and respectful service

This place created the most terrible experience for my mother who was having her first real wedding. She was in tears over the mishaps and screw ups on the bridesmaid dresses she ordered. We paid extra for full length... they came tea length a couple weeks before the wedding. Owner sewed on extra fabric... against the nap so it looked like 2 different colors!! Still charged us the full amount. Alterations in addition were outrageous. The owner complained about how much money SHE was out so she couldn't discount the screw up. Kept saying it wasn't her fault and the manufacturer didn't care.... because they messed up around 20 orders form her already. I asked why she was still ordering from them and told her to recover her money form them, not the customer. She looked at me like I grew a second head.
