The Morning Star Packing Company, which began as a trucking company in 1970, manufacturers bulk tomato products. The company offers a full line of tomato ingredients in 55-gallon drums and 300-gallon bins. It also has a tube-in-tube line, which makes diced, purees, ketchup and crushed products. Morning Star houses its bulk processing facilities in Los Banos and Williams, Calif. Since 1993, the Liberty Packing Company has done all the diced processing for Morning Star products from its facility in Santa Nella, Calif. The company s harvesting and transplanting is performed in conjunction with the California Sun Harvesting Company in Northern California and Lucero Farms in Southern California.
