We live in condominium and our fireplace didn’t work for few years, we tried two companies to repair it and we been told that it’s too old and they can’t fix it, can’t find replacement parts because it’s too old and the manufacture out of business, we tried recently again (referred by a friend) with West side fireplace shop they got it done for us with new parts (conversion kit) our fire place working again and even look better than before. I had a direct vent fireplace installed in my home, I was very happy with the work that was done. It was done in a timely manner, I had good communication with the sales person ( Maty ) He answered all my questions, told me what would have to be done, when the job would be started and when it would be finished, He also did not give me any surprise charges and saved me money. They sold us and installed a B-vent gas firplace, into our older home. Space was a real issue. I think that we got the only unit made that would work in our situation, thans to thier bringing out the representative of the company that made the unit to help in the selection. In addition, Westside Fireplace did extra work just to make sure that the firplace protruded into the room as little as possibel. TYhey were prompt, professional, and we couldn't be happier with the result. We are DIY'ers who know the difference between good and bad work and this was very good work.
