New owner with many years of experience and great customer service

I left my boots to have the heel repaired. Called around, one business told me it should take 5-10 min. Upon arrival at Loyola Shoe, the repair man asked me to come back tomorrow. I asked if I could wait, he agreed to 20 min. My mistake upon my return was not asking the price. When I came back and asked how much I owed, he first quoted me $30. My eyeballs shot out of my face. He then quoted me $15. I said $15 for a small heal, he said no, $10, plus $5 for the shine. I reminded him that I only requested the tips of my boot heels to be replaced. Needless to say I was yelled at, told that I was complaining and received an unwarranted amount of disrespect for some sloppy work. While I am grateful for the yellow pages in assisting me to find a shoe repair, I absolutely do not recommend this business, on the basis of poor customer service, and unfair practices, by not listing prices and charging customers based on what they think a person is willing to pay.
