Joel and Company was great from start to finish. They did a bathroom remodel and a kitchen remodel for us and I have to say it looks better then we expected. The crew was very clean, detailed, professional and outstanding. Without wasting any time, they went straight to work every day until the job was completed. No issues at all, the bathroom and kitchen remodel came out just like I wanted it to be. They respected everything I have requested and I always appreciate a good attitude. Joel & Co. Construction is Los Angeles best general contractor!

My husband and I just finished a large home addition and kitchen remodel with Joel & Co. Construction. We are extremely happy with the entire process and the outcome of our remodel. We found Joel on another website where we noticed he had a 5 star rating. We interviewed other contractor but ultimately decided to go with Joel because we felt he had a more modern style of building, his price was right on target and most important he was just as excited about the project as we were. We contacted all of his references and all were saying that he is an exceptional contractor that cares about customer satisfaction.... We agree, and will continue to work with Joel and Company on our next project.

From the very beginning the Joel and Company team listened to what we wanted to get out of our kitchen remodel, helping us execute our exact vision to create our gorgeous new kitchen. They worked with the materials we chose, provided insight on what was going to work for our needs and in our house, kept us informed on the status of the project and the schedule of events happening day-to-day, and were on top of every detail throughout the entire renovation process. The result is exactly as we had hoped it would turn out when we started this process. We would definitely use Joel & Co. Construction again for any future remodeling projects!

Joel & Co. Construction is one of the best contractors in Los Angeles I have ever worked with. We hired them about a year and a half ago to do a kitchen remodeling and a bathroom remodel on our 4 restrooms. I have trouble finding the words to describe how genuinely pleased we were to have been fortunate enough to hire him.

We recently contacted him again to install a new roof, including installing copper rain gutters, and a outdoor fireplace. It finished soon after and it is just as inspiring and amazing as his first jobs with us.

What puts Joel Portillo in the best-of-the-best category is his awesome attention to detail, his excellent quality of craftsmanship, his incredibly artistic vision, his eye for perfection, his fantastic attitude and disposition, his fair pricing, and his incredibly timely project completion. It doesn't get better.

Joel was a professional from the start. The itemized estimate was easy to follow. Joel was up front with all cost and clearly stated all the work that would be done during the renovation. Joel consulted with us during the renovation to ensure we would be happy with the end result. Through out the renovation the crew was pleasant and professional. The bathroom renovation came out great. I'm very happy with the way the bathroom came out. Joel and his guys were great. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a small project of cementing the rest of my patio. A good friend of mine recommended Joel and Company. They had remodeled his kitchen and did an excellent job.

I contacted Joel and Co. Construction for an estimate and Joel showed up right on time as scheduled. He emailed me an estimate and a week later the work was done.

They did an excellent job and made sure to clean up so there wasn't a trace of dirt after the work was done. Would do business with them again and highly recommend.

Joel & Co. Constriction General Contractors did some work in my condo for me earlier this summer that involved a bathroom remodel and replaced the lighting fixtures in the foyer and hallway, skim coated, painted the foyer, hallway, and all the bedrooms. Joel's prices are extremely fair, he and his team are very reliable, and they do high quality work, and have a clear desire to do right by the customer. Joel was great about answering any questions I had and providing suggestions or solutions, without trying to sell me work I don't need. I felt comfortable leaving my condo with his men, who were always very polite and courteous.

I had made a handful of calls when looking for a contractor to take this project and feel very lucky that Joel is the one that worked out. If you need a contractor, definitely give them a call. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

I have no doubt that without their dedication, attentiveness, and expertise; the finished work would not have been as wonderful as it turned out. All of the representatives were not only superbly skilled, but also very considerate and courteous. Whenever I called the office, my calls were promptly returned and I received immediate assistance from them. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Joel was great to work with. Reasonable rates and good communication throughout the process. They did a great job repairing some drywall and tile in my bathroom. They even came back to do some touch up work to make sure the job was perfect. Had a few small electrical projects done as well, which turned out great. I would recommend them for small or big jobs you might have around your home.

This is the company to hire! I cannot praise their work and professionalism enough. Each employee is a craftsman. They are on time with projects if not finishing early. We have used Joel & Co. Construction for a gorgeous bathroom remodel and other projects. We will use them again and rest assured that the remodel will be fantastic. Joel, the owner and is a delight. Give them a call.

My best friend told me about this company and I used them to remodel both my bathrooms they are great! Joel is wonderful to work with, very flexible, understanding and a great communicator. I have nothing but great things to say about this company.

This is an amazing company! I had them remove my popcorn ceilings and install LED recessed lighting throughout a home I just recently purchased. Joel managed to have everything done in time for me to move in. I told him I only have about two weeks before my lease is up in my old apartment, he smiled and said "no problem". I don't know much about construction but 43 recessed lights, new ceilings, and fresh new interior paint in just 9 days....WOW! I would choose them again in a heartbeat. Great customer service, great prices, and very quick in completing the job.

Worked with Joel to update a home I had purchased in Pasadena. I had them upgrade our electrical panel, change the AC / heating unit and paint the interior and exterior of the house. They were fast and efficient. When I had questions they were easy to contact and most important everyone on the staff had a great attitude throughout the entire process.
