HI MY NAME IS CAPRICE AND I AM THE CEO.OF THIS CO. I USE TO WORK FOR STARVING STUDENTS AND I USE TO GO OUT ON JOBS AND LEARN HOW TO GIVE PEOPLE THE BEST MOVE THEY EVER HAD.((((STRESS FREE))))!! THREW OUT THE 7YR.I WORKED FOR THEM I UNDERSTAND THE DO'S AND DON'T OF THE MOVE. THE NUMBER ONE THING I NOTICE THAT AT THE END OF EACH MOVE THE BILL COME AND I EXPLAIN THE BILL IT BE A LOT OF THINGS THAT THE PEOPLE THAT BOOKED THE MOVE DID NOT TELL THEM ALL THE ((EXTRA CHARGES)) AND THEY BROKE PEOPLE STUFF. THEN WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE UPSET CUSTOMERS.

THEN WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE ANGRE CUSTOMERS. I KEPT FEELING LIKE THEY JUST SEND US OUT THERE ROBBING THE CUSTOMERS BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TELL THEM THE RITE AMOUNT OF THE BILL. SO I STARTED MY OWN MOVING CO. SO I CAN GIVE THEM THE BEST AND HONEST MOVE THEY EVER HAD.------------WE ARE NOT UP AND RUNNING BUT WE WILL BE SOON SO HOLD ON TO ALL THE B.S. THAT'S OUT THERE. THIS IS JUST A -------F.Y.I FOR ALL THE FUTURE CUSTOMERS.

Hello,I moved from los angeles Ca. to San pedro Ca.and it took about 30min.to get to our destination.Now for all the people that is moving in the future,that don't understand about "DUBBLE DRIVE TIME". All the moving co. That i called said '' DUBBLE DRIVE TIME'' I did not understand what that ment.So they say if it take 30min.to get to your destination it will be an hour because DUBBLE of 30/30=hour,so in other words more money to your bill that you have to pay.F.Y.I. GRADUATE OF STARVING STUDENTS DON'T TRY TO PULL THE WOOL OVER YOU EYES THEY DON'T CHARGE "DUBBLE DRIVE TIME" THEY JUST CHARGE YOU FOR YOUR TIME OF MOVE AND, THEY WAS THE BEST.

We were very happy with the work of Mr. Robinson and his associate. Their prices were reasonable; they worked very hard, and they moved all of our antique (well, old, at least) furniture without incurring a single scratch. They also negotiated some tricky situations with large refrigerators and small doorways. I trust that when they expand and achieve the success they richly deserve, they will retain their positive attitude, strong ethics, and delightful sense of humor.

The movers at Graduate of Starving Students were very professional. They started promptly and did not cut any corners that (unfortunately) many movers in the business tend to cut.



Their rate was very fair, and most of all they had integrity -- from not having hidden costs, to not wasting any time on-the-job, to (most importantly) how they handled an incident with cosmetic damage to a valuable piece of furniture. They didn't try to hide anything or make excuses, but rather came forward immediately with how they would help in the process to get it fixed. Pending how this situation plays out, we rate their service very highly and would definitely recommend them!

I called several high profile moving companies and they all had absolutely ridiculous rates. The job I required was very simple. "Graduate" was courteous, punctual, efficient, and reasonably priced for the industry. As a matter of fact, they, had the best rates by far. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future should the need arise.

My best friend went out of town and she decided to stay out of town. So she ask me to move everthing out of her apt.and put her stuff in storge. I had to work and i did not feel like packing MY BEST FRIEND'S stuff. So i realized i needed a moving company. I was seaching the internet,and saw GSSI specialize in pack and move. I called around and had BEKINS come out and give me a quote and GSSI. I have to admitt I was expecting to be racked over the coals. I was very impressed with GSSI. Dominique was honest,thorough the whole move and hard-woking.His crew was very professionl. I had to put all my trust in this company,because i had to work and i must say when i had a friend to check on them,they said they are in there working as if someone was standing over them watching them.I was pleasantly suprised when i came back on my lunch break.Dominique and his crew packed the whole house,loaded and unloaded all making my schedule. When moving there are always suprises but Dominique knew how to work around them.........I have never been the one to recommend a moving company but i would recommend GSSI....THEIR PRICES WERE FAIR ALSO. You guys saved our day! We ambitiously thought we could load a rented truck full of furniture for a move to Las Vegas, but after putting the first few items on, we realized we were in trouble. I called Dominique at 4:30 on a Thursday, and he and Al were at our place at 8:45 the next morning - 4th of July, no less!

Within a half an hour the job was done, at half the price we were quoted by someone else.

Both guys were a pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier.

Don't hesitate to call them for your moving needs!

These guys are AMAZING! My mother was in a pretty bad jam (lots of stuff, old awkward apartment complex and needed out fast) but Graduate of Starving Students handled it with gusto. They were friendly, careful and understanding. This was a first move for my mother in over thirty years and I had never dealt with any kind of moving company before, so we were truly fortunate to have them do our move. Everything made it to the new home safely. Oh, did I forget to mention the price… Unbelievably affordable! Their price was literally half of what many other companies quoted me and they really know how to treat customers- with respect, consideration, precision and care.

My experience was a disaster! I called the movers Sunday @ 9:02 a.m., they said they could do the move the same day later that afternoon that they need two hours. Hours go by so I called them @ 4:29 p.m. same day to see if they were coming of if the appointment had been cancelled. The gentleman still said he could do the move the same day, that he was finishing up his first appointment from this morning. In the mean time, the customer that was waiting on the living room set had also put their Sunday on hold waiting for this guy to commit to a time. I get a random call from the movers @ 6 p.m. adving he couldn't do the move today that he can only do it tomorrow at 10 a.m. It's that or nothing else. I was disgusted by the lack of consideration for other people's time. The customer was ok with the delivery at Monday at 10 a.m. so I let that go.



It gets better! This guy calls me at 8:09 p.m. advising he's not doing the job at all!



He needs a few classes on how to run a business.



If you need something delivered, you're taking a gamble that its going to get there.



Also, he's overwhelming to talk to. His mouth goes a millions miles a minute.





Totally disgusted with Gradate of Starving Students Moving Co.

The employees of Graduate of Starving Students Moving Company, came in and went right

to work. There was no messing around, every bit of the move was done very professionally.



No one better in the L.A. area as far as I'm concerned.

Dear friends,i had to move and it was all of a sudden and i called everybody on the first page and i came to Gradute of Staving students the last one.So i called and they was booked up to.I was talkingg to the reprepresentive on the phone was so nice i told him what had happen,so he still told me that all the trucks will out for that day and every move was different,but if a truck come back early they will send them out.BOY oh BOY,they came out and did the move in a u-haul truck and did the move for me.I must say i was very relieve when i saw them,they look very,very professial.Thank you guys for saving me and my stuff. I would just like to say that the Gradute of Starving Student was better than Starving Student Moving Co.The guys at Graudute was fast and on time no games no hidden fee.They was straight forward.My move took about 5hr and i payed 500.00 for my move.They was very professional and fast.F.Y.I. This is the same guys that starving students moving co. would had sent out to you to do your move.
