THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING YOUR LOVE ONE TO THIS FACILITY. We took my dad to Culver West because we couldn’t care for him at home. In many ways I was great full because they did the things we could not do for him. No, not every one who work there is bad matter of fact few of the workers are nice and caring but others simply don’t work, don’t care. The bad reviews are correct. My dad was legally blind diagnosed by a retina doctor but often when I tried to remind them they would argue that he can see. One nurse even told me that the doctor is wrong. He was their for 7 months and I never knew if there was any one in charge to make sure that people did the job they were getting paid for. Generally I saw and felt NO supervision. I was always thankful because I didn’t want any one to make his life more difficult. His last day at the facility was on a Saturday so staff was limited. He was VERY,VERY SICK and I asked the nurse few times to send him to the hospital but she said he is fine and didn’t even call his doctor. Yes, She was the nurse supervisor and yes, she is there every day. The evening nurse send him to the ER. The doctor in the ER told me that my dad is going to live between 2 hours to 2 days. His blood pressure was deadly low. My dad also take blood thinners medication. Each day test must be done to adjust the medication. His blood was extremely thin so not sure if and when daily test was done. My dad passed Sunday. No one from Culver west bothered to call me after my dad’s passing.

I apologize for graphic photo but the truth must be told!

I rarely give bad reviews, however when I do it's real.

My mother was admitted to Culver West Hospital after being discharged from Kaiser too early. What followed with Culver West Heath Center was a nightmare. Although some of the staff were helpful, most weren't.

They have one Doctor (Dr. David C. Chang) who works for several facilities and is rarely available. That being said my mother got multiple large bed soars along with two infections in 10 days. One infection was due to feces backed up into her intestines because the nurses did not do there job while under Dr. Chang's care.

I'm suing Dr. David Clifford Chang in small claims court October 2016. I would urge anyone to not place your parent or loved one in this facility unless they are able to talk and move around physically. Do not depend on this center for anything as they're motto is "it's not my job".
