Owner extremlely rude . Constantly reminds customers"don't touch the records surface" Stopped going years ago- just couldn't stand the treatment.

Great classics they have here. The clerk is so chatty that we end up talking about Red Hot Chili Peppers for about an hour. I would love to look at their tapes the next time I get here.

They have tapes and CD’s here, which is a rare find in some of the record stores in some places. I really enjoy shopping in this place also because of the people.

My experience at Counterpoint was rather lame. First of all, the guy that was behind the counter was less than friendly. I don't believe he smiled once, not even when I kindly asked 'how are you doing today'...he just said, "I'll be right with you"...which he had already told me...so, pretty much seemingly thought I was trying to hurry him or something. No one else was in the store and I was very laid back...definitely not rushing him. Anyway, I was there to sell many books, almost all in pristine condition and a nice selection. He didn't bother to explain his method or rate of pay for each book he decided he'd buy from me. He just shuffled them in three stacks, putting two stacks back in my container, then saying "So, I only want to buy these", in this very snotty tone. I thought that the guy should have tried to be a little more kind and maybe say "thank you" for the books (?!) Well, that's a NO. Whatever then, seeing that I had never been there before and the fella I spoke to on the phone prior to going in was very nice and informative, I guess I just picked a crappy day to stop by Counterpoint with my books. This guy just sucked. Didn't catch his name and happy to not know it. Disappointing.

Place has some cool stuff....
