This use to be my favorite restaurant and we went there Wednesday night, New Year's Eve for our anniversary. The server was not cordial at all. In fact, we got a glass of wine that was spoiled and asked for a new one. She gave us a new one, but said she tasted a sip from the old bottle and the new one and said she couldn't tell the difference. She obviously doesn't drink wine! There was no comparison.We both ordered pasta and the noodles were over cooked. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Fortunately we went to a different restaurant for desert and new year's drinks. This saved the night.Axel's, I don't know how you went down hill so badly, but unless I hear that things have changed, I'm not coming back.

The place was great, been their a half dozen times, we like the place. This time shrimp was over cooked.01/28/2013 the waitress thought it was over cooked to, but why didn't refuse it from the kitchen?
