This "rookie" attorney learned early on how to charge out time spent with clients and how to convince a new client of his ability to win cases. When it came right down to the nuts and bolts of my case, he was so busy winning the acceptance of the Plaintiff's attorney, I could see right away who was winning--and it wasn't me. I lost a huge chunk of money but I helped boost his "popularity" with the other attorney. This experience goes on my list of bad decisions and an expensive lesson learned.
