I have never been so dissapointed in Ed Becker from Central Home Comfort out of Long Prairie MN. He had been referred to me by another business for plumbing and heating. He did a few projects for me but he would start and keep telling me or contractors I'll be here tomorrow but no show so call again and I'll be there later today or first thing in morning, no show again. When I would threaten to have someone else finish them he would show up and do something small and then here we go again. I just built a 60 x120 building with in floor heat. I finally had to have the concrete guys put the infloor heat in because they were tired of waiting for more false promises. I bought a 15,000 boiler in October for the heat and it took til middle of January to get it up and running. He never did hook it up completely, again he kept saying tomorrow so I told him not to come back and hired another plumbing and heating Co. out of Little Falls and they were there the next day. When they arrived we found the plumbing in bath done wrong, had to cut sheetrock out after it had all be textured and painted to re solder shower faucet that was crooked and not secured. None of the water lines in walls were secured and no elbows coming out. Then worst of all I had the concrete floors polished and come to find out he put bell traps in my bathroom and utility room which are illegal by MN code. I had to hire Concrete co. jack hammer the new floor out and have the correct drains put in and cover the floor with vynal plank after I had paid to have it polished. He had been paid for everything to date. I also found out that when he did all the plumbing in our new commercial building that he was supposed to have a plan approved by the State and never did that either.When we first hired him he was fast and fair priced so we recommended him to others to only find out he has done the same to them, start and not finish. I called him on his unethical work and he told me my new plumber didn't know what he was doing and said if I contact him he would file charges against me for harassment. Nice guy ha !!! I know many others he has done the same thing to. His word is WORTHLESS...
