Fire alarm went off in hallway repeatedly at all hours. Rooms are spacious and location is nice but "adult only time" late night in pool is not enforced. Kids running around crazy everywhere. Ice machine on our floor didn't work and maintenance man laughed it off and told us to smack it. Good for families on a budget who aren't picky, NOT couples on a fancy romantic getaway. A little run down but functional. Nice view from third floor. Pets welcome and plenty of space for them to run.

Both of my brothers came down to stay for two days with Chautauqua Lodge, I tried several times to call this establishment to see if they had made it in, and NO ONE answered the flipping phone. I was like, are you kidding me already, it would be nice to know if my family made it safely, and what if there was an emergency? No one would be able to get through to this establishment. I just do not think this is ok.
