Provided by YP.comI have been going to Benley since it first opened. Although there have been many changes since then, their Vietnamese food remains fresh / flavorful and the service good.
The venue located in a shopping center is on the small side, has minimalistic decor, with eclectic tunes playing in the background. It is the consistently great food that brings me back. The Vietnamese "risotto" and mushrooms, rice vermicelli, ong-choy with garlic, and shaken filet are just some of my favs. My spouse loves the pan-seared salmon with cilantro aioli.
The dessert selections are also very good – the buttermilk panna cotta is creamy and tangy, while the banana bread and coconut sauce is a neat treat to eat.
The wine list is limited and a bit pricey, so consider the BYO wine approach as a back-up plan, or for round two if the mood is right.
If you have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to try outside Little Saigon (Garden Grove / Los Angeles) give Benley a try!

Provided by SuperpagesOne of the best restaurant experiences you will have in Long Beach. While they do not have a liquior license, you are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine (most customers always do) and their corkage is so minimal that you will be able to have a GREAT meal and wine for a party of 4 under $100.
