Terrible customer service! Dan G., the field manager, is too busy in "meetings" to ever return phone calls or deal with issues. We've had a reoccurring problem with our tankless hot water heater, that they installed, and cannot fix. We've given this company thousands of dollars over the years and they treat their customers like garbage and leave them hanging. We've since moved onto another company that values their customers. Beware!

I caaled on a Friday with water from the upstairs shower flooding the basement bathroom. Rick came out and found a major blockage in the "Y" pipe coming off the main branch. After hours of trying to clear the blockage it was determined that the lines needed to be hydro-jetted but the equipment was not available till Monday. Rick stayed and worked and worked at clearing the blockage from several different access points till he was finally able to clear it. He didn't want me to be without a bathroom over the weekend. Monday morning the lines were hydro-jetted and all is well. Rick could have simply left me in a bind and gone home to enjoy his weekend but he put my welfare first. Thanks to everyone that helped me out.

Excellent from start to finish. Plumbing issues can be very stressful but when you are serviced but quality, efficient professionals it eases any further concerns. Highly recommend Precision Plumbing

I am extremely happy with Precision Plumbing & Heating. Kevin was my technician on call after hours. He was prompt, professional, & explained everything to me with patience & kindness. He alleviated my fears that the furnace was “in great condition” only needing a fuse. He scheduled delivery of a new water heater next day! I will indeed & have already recommend to all neighbors & friends this company!

Excellent service I will definitely refer this company to my friends and relatives . Techs are very knowledgeable and precise . Overall I’ll give the techs who came to our house a 10 especially Paul D technician. He was respectful easy to talk to and did an excellent job replacing our water heater unit .previous tech gave us a discount for the inconvenience I believe his name was Chris . So happy I called precision plumbing !!!

Carl was right on time, was not bothered by our dogs, walked through everything with me, and then got the job done! Already have more jobs lined up him!

Paul did a fantastic job in redesigning the trap under the kitchen sink. It was a mess since I hade granite tops and new sinks installed. He also baled me out of a problem with a plugged up sink. Will certainly use Precision Plumbing again for any future needs i

Precision Plumbing is a top quality company who is fast. My only complaint about the service I received is that on the first call/visit the plumber didn't find anything wrong and I was charged $160 which makes sense to me. He came out to home. Days later the problem was still there and the same plumber said he did not see anything wrong but since the hot water heater pilot won't stay lit he suggested a new heater even though the old one was not near life expectancy. I agreed and paid about $1,500 for that. When I asked if the first visit would be credited I was told no. I feel that a good business practice is that 2 visits within days for same problem should get the customer a discount of first visit that didn't resolve any problem at all.

Billy and Steven were amazing knowledgeable professtional. We will definitely use them again and tell our friends about their service!

Precision plumbing was awesome to work with! We just bought a new house and our hot water heater was leaking... Percision had some on out in a matter of hours! Dan C., the tech, was beyond professional! He explained everything in detail and made sure that I understood what he was doing and why! I would highly recommen Percision Plumbing and tech Dan C. To anyone who need plumbing services!

This is the 2nd time I've taken off work and waited all day for someone to show up and no one did. Called them several times and they promised someone would show up , don't worry your on the schedule for the day. They are full of BS don't waste your time.

Their pricing is a rip off. Replaced a 40 gallon water heater. It was a 6 year warranty AMERICAN® water heater probably no more than $600. There was some add'l work I would estimate the parts at $100. I was charged around $1900 total for the job.



The guy showed up, did estimate, work and out in 3 hours. $1900 minus $700 of materials is $1200 for labor. That's $400/hour. The guy even tells me the rate is high because they have to charge for travel and a bunch of other misc crap.



Second issue is the water heater is a piece of crap. The shower and sink faucets have to have the cold water almost turned off in order to get any hot water. I already have the temp setting on the water heater set higher than normal. I did not have this problem with the old water heater with any of the faucets. I think the guy even knew he sells a crappy product and this is a known issue because he told me if I don't get enough hot water to try turning up the temp setting on the water heater.

Disappointment does not begin to describe how upset I am with Precision Plumbing's service. Precision Plumbing came out to do a system check but failed to diagnose several critical problems with the unit, which ultimately resulted in the unit needing to be replaced.

Not impressed at all. Precision came out fast enough and had a cheap initial visit price, but after that they were WAY MORE EXPENSIVE than other plumbing outfits when comparing what I paid to what a neighbor paid for a similar job. They appear to be one of those places that lures in customers with a lower service call charge, but then hose you with higher prices once they're at your house and you're desperate for the actual repair. Then to top it off, the work wasn't even done right the first time. They had to come back and fix the new toilet they installed because they left it wobbly and loose. And the tech who came the second time around wasn't the first guy who did the bogus job and tried to charge me almost $300 to properly set the toilet before realizing his mistake. He had no clue that Precision was back at my house to fix their own sloppy work. Are you kidding me?



Like another reviewer said, this outfit also are pushy salesmen trying to sell you all kinds of things you don't really need. I just want the job done that I called about, thank you.



Will never call again...

Definitely would NEVER Recomment. Very disappointing. Called them in the morning and asked for an urgent appointment in the afternoon. The told me that they would be there after 1:00 p.m. I took the afternoon off work and waited for a phone call. Received a call at 3:30 in the afternoon saying that they would not be able to send anyone to my home. They left me hanging all day without any type of notice. This is unacceptable for a business. Common courtesy is to call earlier so I would have had a chance to call someone else. Too bad Lombard...... Preceision is a lot less than Precise. It's a shame I had to give them 1 star but the system made me....

Don't use these guys= I had sewer backed up in the basement, called them and was given a nine am appointment for the next morning. At eleven am, I called them, and they said they were busy, and it would be nine the next morning. I told them not to bother, I would find someone else, and I did, and they were there in 20 minutes. Had Precision Plumbing out once before, and they rotted the pipe, but wanted to do over five thousand dollars of unnecessary work.. Definitely do NOT use these guys= FYI they also use the name Kanga Rooter. Same company.

Extremely dissatisfied and totally doubting the work that was done. Unfortunately, my plumbing emergency occurred on a weekend, and my regular plumber was swamped and couldn't get to a sewer backup for two weeks. I would have been much better off calling the village in the first place. They were wonderful. I am worried I was totally ripped off for $4,000 and my front yard is all dug up. There is unfortunately, a huge sense of urgency when you are without indoor plumbing. The first tech never returned a glass and never even emptied to buckets of sewer water and got my basement carpeting soaked for $179. I should have insisted on seeing proof of the costly repair quoted the next day through cameras and the compromised sewer pipe connection. Trust no one, especially a plumber. And are they really licensed plumbers or only techs. The two techs who jackhammered my front stoop, replaced the connection, installed an outdoor access point, removed excess material and added gravel were good. A village inspector approved their work. But I never saw the compromised connection. I should have insisted. In addition, Precision Plumbing couldn't rod out to the village sewer in the street after three tries, but the other plumber contracted by the village got through on the first try. Imagine that. The supervisor, Chris Hart, who replaced a seal on my toilet, never even removed the old wax seal or properly checked the connection from the shut-off to the toilet. A bucket of water filled up in my basement, after the ceiling was soaked, under the first floor toilet. The responses from Precision Plumbing on the Yelp forum are totally fabricated. The owners are John Zagoul; and Mike Barowski. There is no such person as Matt M. The only time they provide service is to pick up a check for work that wasn't necessary. Stay away. These people are scammers.

I am pleased to say KangaRooter's service agent, Jake was extremely professional from start to finish. He explained everything that needed to be done and answered all questions to complete satisfaction. He started with laying floor covering before bringing equipment into the house and when finished cleaned up the mess from the aftermath. We then discussed the additional work suggested on the outside of the house and a crew would be out the next day to complete the excavation and piping portion of this next job and that crew was Andrew and Neil. During the process they ran into difficulties/delays due to factors beyond their control and the job took longer than expected. As things progressed Andy kept me informed every step of the way. When it was finished, Justin stopped in to check on the results and to see that everything was flowing according to plan! I could not be more pleased with how Precision Plumbing Services/KangaRooter handled the whole unpleasant situation. Their type of professionalism should be mirrored by other companies and I recommend them with highest regards.
