Saw an advertisement for a transmission from a Dodge pickup truck, the man selling it from McDaniel Auto parts said it had a 30 day guarantee. I went and bought it, got the paperwork showing a 30 day guarantee and then installed it. The PUMP was bad and it did NOT push fluid. As you might know, that's PRETTY important to a transmission. Had to take it out.



I called him 5 times trying to get my money back. The answer I always got was "I don't have that money". He offered to let me trade it back in on other merchandise, but since I live in Tennessee and it's such a long drive, that's a complete waste of time and he wanted MORE money from me.



I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from McDaniel auto parts. They are not interested in giving you your money back if it's junk. I removed the transmission from the truck and ended up having to spend a lot more money on a completely different until because I couldn't trust that the unit was good. VERY FRUSTRATING, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL REFUND. I notice that he no longer advertises a warranty on his parts, that's because the yard is very old. BUYER BEWARE, you buy it, you own it from this guy... VERY DISHONEST MAN. OLD JUNKYARD, TERRIBLE BUSINESS
