Established in 1887, the Cache County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that provides community protection and crime prevention services. It operates a support service division that includes records, civil, investigation, court and training units. The Cache County Sheriff's Office operates a citizen academy that offers a seven-week course and covers topics, such as patrol, search and rescue, court security, investigation, neighborhood watch and jail operations. The Cache County Sheriff's Office also operates the McGruff House that provides residence for underprivileged children. It has a jail division that offers various inmate programs, such as creative writing, general equivalency diploma, addiction recovery, life skills, anger management, meditation and music therapy. The Cache County Sheriff's Office is located in Logan, Utah.
