The Logan Police Department is a law enforcement agency that preserves peace, protects residents lives and their property, arrests law violators and enforces measures to prevent crime. The department operates the S.R.T. (Special Response Team) that handles raids on suspected drug dealers, hostage situations and barricaded suspects. The Logan Police Department also has a bike patrol unit that conducts regular patrols and responds to calls for service. It additionally maintains a team of school resource officers that conducts investigation, makes arrests and provides constant security through foot patrol inside the school. The Logan Police Department has been operational for more than 90 years and is located in Logan, Ohio.
