I went through PT before and after my shoulder surgery and was so pleased with the results! I had one on one coaching with specific instruction to get the maximum benefit for my efforts. The printed and written instructions for doing the PT at home on the days I didn't go in for PT was very helpful. I really appreciated the encouragement from the staff over the progress I was making.... even when my progress was slow. The staff made me feel comfortable and safe when trying new exercises. I highly recommend First Settlement in Logan for knowledgeable and caring therapists.

I go to the Logan, OH clinic and the staff there is outstanding! I didn't really want to go to pt because I thought it was a waste of my time, and I boldly carried my bad attitude with me on my first visit. After the initial assessment of my shoulder, the therapist talked to me about the plan ahead of me to get me through the pain and back into full range of motion. I left that day with hope. Every appointment since then has been fun because the staff members are all so upbeat and encouraging, and they show that they really care about me getting back to my normal routine on my farm. The exercises they assigned me to do at home have worked to keep me progressing in between appointments with them. Even on the days that I don't really feel like going in to my appointments, I get there and go through the exercises and leave feeling better physically as well as emotionally. They are a great support team to help me reach my goals. I really appreciate their patience, understanding, and especially all the encouragement along with their sense of humor! I fun group that makes exercising not such a chore.
