Very Disappointed

My 91 yr old friend wanted to give her daughter flowers for Christmas. Originally we ordered a bright sparkling bouquet and the very nice girl on the phone made it sound amazing. We were supposed to see my friend's daughter in a Christmas program and give her the flowers afterward. Tragically, the duaghter's beloved dog died, and our plans were cancelled. The flowers were also going to be used for a family Christmas gathering and my friend decided to go ahead and reorder some flowers. I called Pittmans and again spoke to the nice young lady. I explained we needed something more subdued and she suggested an arrangement. I asked her to pick out one and hold it for me. When I arrived to purchase the flower arrangement it was not at all what I expected. It was mostly a stemmed vase with a small arrangement of flowers. It was nice but was dominated by a vase that I didn't know if my friend's daughter would like or need. I asked about just purchasing a bouquet. They went into their cooler and just picked out random flowers and wrapped them up. The store was busy and I felt that I was making unnecessary work for them. I bought the bouquet and when I got outside and saw the poor quality and condition of the flowers I almost went back in to get the arrangement, but they had made me feel so uncomfortable that I didn't. It makes me very sad that the last Christmas present my friend may give her only daughter was this scraggly damaged thrown-together bunch of wilting flowers.

DO NOT USE PITTMAN FLORIST! Tammy is very unprofessional to say the least. Customer service is ridiculous. Ordered flowers for somebody for our company. Tried to get a receipt of course. She could not fax it as she does not have a fax and said she could not email an actual receipt, just a little note saying how much we paid. We would have to wait until the end of the month for her to look for the receipt in her records - three weeks! She emails me a note "you spent this month on flowers." Really? Trying to talk with her - forget it. How she stays in business is beyond me. Very rude and not customer oriented at all. She forgets that it is we as the customer that pays her bills!

Love Pittman Florist. Thank you so much for the BEAUTIFUL Valentines flowers. My husband told you all my favorites & it was perfect. It was even delivered early in the day, which blew my mind with all the snow we had gotten. Nothing stops you guys from being awesome. He always uses you to get me flowers & never thinks to go anywhere else. Thanks to sweetest little flower ever!

We used this florist for our wedding. We were quoted a price around $850 and were charged around $1100! She never even notified us that the price had gone up. She also promised that she could find out of season fiddle head ferns and on my wedding day they were not in any of the arrangements. She gave no explanation as to why she didn't include them and didn't even notify us to let us know before the wedding. She also didn't deliver them until 10 minutes before I was supposed to be walking down the aisle. It is 3 years later and my husband decided to give them another chance for Valentines day. They again quoted him a price and charged far more than they quoted without notification or explanation. AND they completely left out the orchids! The flowers are wilted and look half dead. He also told them he did not want a vase, he wanted a bouquet tied with ribbon. The flowers can in a very large vase. So basically you can't trust the quoted price or even expect to get the arrangement you ordered. I am disgusted that they think it is OK to do business like this and I will never use them again. He might as well gone to Food Lion and spent $15 rather than $95 on this horrible arrangement.

I came home to the most beautiful arrangement from my boyfriend today from Pittman Florist. I have gotten flowers a few times from this Florist & every time I am so impressed with how awesome they smell & they last forever. I can't wait to some by & see this shop, I have heard they have everything in there. Either way, their flowers are awesome. Thanks for getting my guy into buying flowers. I LOVE them!!!!

This is one of my favorite shops!! I had no idea there were so many sweet little things inside, until I popped by to order flowers. The girls there are so nice & helpful. I saw so many pretty things, I didn't know where to start. I have a ton of gift ideas now for my daughters for Christmas. One of the designers was taking an order, balancing a baby on her hip & just as bubbly & calm as could be. As a mother myself that takes talent! The owner is very sweet too, you can tell she loves what she does by the excitement in her eyes helping to plan out this event with me. I have heard amazing things about her work. I really appreicate working with you all. I have told everyone about this quaint little shop by the lake. We are all very glad you opened! Look forward to popping in again soon.

I love Pittman Florist! This is the place to go. They have those AWESOME rainbow roses which are just...WOW! I love Tammy, she is such a sweetheart to work with & has the nicest staff there. I have used you guys a number of times & have always been impressed with everything I've ordered. I recommend everyone come here for their flowers, gifts....everything. You girls ROCK!! Thanks!

This florist is the worst ever! They do not respond and do not seam to be interested in you as a customer. They also promise you they can get you flowers that are out of season when they really can't get them! Trust me, do not use this florist.

Completely unprofessional. My Husband ordered flowers for our anniversary to be delivered to me at work on May 3rd. At 4:30 that afternoon he called me for the 10th time that day and finally asked if i had received the flowers. I told him i hadn't and he called the florist. The young man who answered the phone explained that the flowers were still in thier cooler and were not going to be delivered. He explained to them that he wanted to cancel the order as i was not going to be into work the next day and would not recieve them. He paid almost $100.00 for the flowers . Our account was charged and no refund was given. I have called the florist 4 time since May 10th to speak with the manager who has yet to get on the phone or return any of my calls and as of today still has not been reimbursed the cost of the flowers. Will never use them again and am getting ready to call the credit card company and report fraudulent charges as they recieved money for goods not provided. Do not use this company for any reason.

I just wanted to say Thank You to Pittman Florist. I have bought a few items from them and the exprience was great. Very friendly and the flowers last for longer than I expected.
