I decided to go through Heritage for an engagement ring instead of a typical retail store. Dirk was able to help design the ring with CAD drawings and allowed me to make any changes until I thought the ring was perfect. It gave me the chance to see what the ring would like before it was commissioned. Despite making a few changes to the drawings it never seemed to bother Dirk. I couldn't be happier with the finished product as it turned out better than I anticipated. I would recommend Heritage for anyone in the market for jewelry, especially engagement rings. The expertise and knowledge Dirk showed was extremely helpful in picking out the perfect ring.

I was all ready to purchase an engagement ring through Bluenile, but decided I would give a store a shot and look at some stones first hand. I did not want to stop in a big name store, so I stopped in Heritage. Immediately I was greeted and given a bunch of great information regarding diamond quality. I set up a visit a couple days later to look at some different quality stones, and also to talk about the design of the setting. They were able to give me a CAD preview of what it would look like before actually casting the ring. I was able to get the same price as if I bought something on bluenile, and I was provided with far more services and options. Definitely give Heritage a look before making your purchase!!

I wanted something special to get myself for my 25th birthday, since I felt it was a milestone in my life. I went shopping at chain jewelry stores, but I felt all the jewelry I looked at was all the same. So I decided to go Heritage Jewelers, to see if I could find something special. Dirk did an amazing job by working with me, and understanding what I wanted. The ring is gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. I am getting married next year and definitely planning on coming back and purchasing my wedding bands. Amazed at the customer service, one of the best shopping experiences I ever had. If you need something custom or special made, this is the best place to go.

I have been looking for a 3carat wedding band for a long time. I saw a ring on there web site and decided to give them a call. dirk was amazing. he told me that the ring I wanted was from a jeweler in New York that they work with. the ring was out of my price range. dirk said "no problem, we can make one for you". he asked a lot of questions to get a good idea of what I wanted. He then sent me a computer diagram of the ring. it was what I wanted. Ijust picked up the finished ring. I have never seen such a beautiful ring. it is better than what I had envisioned. Beautiful ring and great price. Excellent service. I will definitely only be going to Heritage Jewelers from now on, even though it is a 45 min drive. I'm so very happy. thank you Dirk

I met with two different members of the Lockport store on two separate occasions and they came up with a setting and center stone that worked out perfectly for an engagement ring. They finished the ring on schedule so I was able to make intricate proposal plans and the new fiancee is extremely happy. Seems like I ordered it a half size too big but they said to just bring it in and they can re-size it in a day. Overall, buying from Heritage Jewelers was a trustworthy, no pressure experience. Highly recommended.

Dirk was PHENOMENAL. He made a custom ring the exact way we wanted. His service was top notch and the whole store was very friendly. The timeliness from looking at the ring to the finished product was so quick.I recommend him to anyone, anywhere. And I will definitely be back for more jewelry!

Wow! Heritage Jewelers is the BEST!!! Dirk educated us about diamonds and was very down to earth and patient as we made changes in the ring we wanted for our engagement. We will go out of our way to do business with Dirk and Jen in the future. We can't say enough good things about them. We highly recommend Heritage Jewelers.

I couldn't be happier with Heritage Jewelry. I have bought my wife's engagement ring, both of our wedding bands and other jewelry from Heritage Jewelry. The customer service is unbelievable. My wife's engagement ring was custom made and is beautiful. Every time we go into the store for something else, they clean and polish her ring and it looks band new! I promise you will not leave this store feeling that they have done everything to find you exactly what you are looking for.

Heritage Jewelers served me with exactly the kind of friendly professionalism that I required for my engagement ring purchase.I'm not a jewelry expert, but certainly did my diligence on this gem. First, I checked out the retail shops. Then, I visited the wholesalers. Last, I gave Dirk a call following a last minute referral from a coworker.From a five minute conversation with Dirk, it was clear that he not only had the experience of any of the previous jewelers that I had visited, but he had an edge. That weekend I was leaving the city for Lockport to meet in person.Dirk's approach is professional, yet casual. Not casual in a flippant way, just a soft confidence like, "I understand that there is a lot of competition, so I'm here for you and will do what is necessary to help you. Otherwise, I hope that you're successful in finding what you need." Granted, most of the other jewelers that I visited and researched (some multiple times) were very competent and "nice" people, but they weren't necessarily prepared to consult with me to ensure that we were both heading in the right direction. Here's how I see it:1) The retail guys are going to sell you something, whether the product is what you're looking for or not2) The wholesale guys are willing to give you whatever you want, but they are just as willing to sell you nothing at all if you're not sureDirk, on the other hand, was listening to me, tweaking the stone size and ring style, reworking budgets to make sure we were on track financially; we were partners and going to get the right stone and setting for the best possible engagement ring.So much consideration goes into purchasing the right engagement ring. Heritage Jewelers truly earned my business with great pricing, exceptional customer service, and most of all, creating the ideal engagement ring.

As a young man enamored with a lady, I did the only sensible thing a person in my position could do I went ring shopping. Working with Dirk at Heritage Jewelers was such a breeze. He gave me a practical education in diamonds while showing me various stones and settings. I never felt pressured in fact the whole process was so much easier then others had described to me. If I need another beautiful piece of jewelry, I will definitely return.

Dirk and Jan definitely have it down when it comes to personal attention and quality at a reasonable price. I recently contacted Dirk for assistance in designing pearl pendants for my 2 nieces who are graduating 8th grade. They came out absolutely beautiful--unlike anything I could have found elsewhere. I also asked Dirk to repair my wedding set which was bent and in need of prong work. When I got my ring back, it was just as beautiful as when I got it 17 years ago! I will continue to bring all of my jewelery needs to Heritage Jewelers and highly recommend them to anyone looking for personal attention, unique quality jewelery, honest work at a very reasonable price and without the stuffy atmosphere!

I used to shop at designer store, such as Tiffany at Oakbrook Mall. However, this store changed my mind. I bought my mom’s a diamond necklace for her 60’s birthday from this place. The diamond quality is incredible!!! The stone quality is very similar and price is about 20% of Tiffany’s quote. For these people are focus on the quality of diamonds and good price, I definitely recommend this place. Their store might not look as fancy as you think, but they definitely have fancy diamonds with the price you want to pay!! The customer services are even better!! I really like Dirk!

Heritage Jewelers was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad they did. I went in there not knowing very much about rings or diamonds. Dirk was great to work with, very knowledgeable and didn’t rush me to buy something. My girl had gone to the mall stores and found her ring size to be between a 6 and a 6.5. Dirk, with his fine craftsmanship, was able to make the ring size 6.25, which the mall stores could NOT do. I would suggest to anyone looking to buy jewelry to check them out. Plus, their prices are GREAT! After the ring was designed and I proposed to Beth, the ring exceeded her expectations. Now the guys that are dating Beth’s girl friends are emailing me on facebook to find out where I bought the ring!

I had seen Heritage Jewelers around but never took the time to stop in. I came across some jewelry that needed repairs so I decided to give Heritage a try. I went into Heritage and the owner, Dirk, was extremely friendly. When it came time to pay, I was blown away by the extremely low cost. I plan on buying my wife's ring at Heritage. I have already sat down and had a few meetings with Dirk. He is patient with me and is very informative and knowledgeable. Heritage Jewelers blows away any store in the mall. If you want to be satisfied with service and cost, I would truly suggest going to Heritage Jewelers!

I was ready to give up a dream of remounting my wedding and engagement rings. I had been to other jewelers only to leave knowing I would not be doing business with them. I came across reviews about Heritage Jewelers and decided to give it one last try. I made an appointment to meet with Dirk, he took a look at my design, he asked all the right questions, gave me a quote and at that moment I felt like I had just won the lottery! My dream was going to come true. Other jewelers had told me they would not be able to do this or that with my design, but not Dirk. His knowledge and professionalism exceeded my expectations. My rings are beautiful, just exactly what I asked for. A family run business with exceptional family values!

Heritage Jewelers improved my wifes engagement ring and wedding three times better then when I purchased them. Seeing the enhanced presentation of the stones was a true work of art. But most importantly was the joy they created for my wife and I.

I thought that the internet was the only place to get the best price on diamond engagement rings. So after many inquiries to on-line companies, I decided to price diamonds at the nearby jeweler, Heritage Jewelers because I really preferred to deal with a store than an on-line company. When I told Dirk, the owner, what specifications I wanted in a diamond, he showed me several stones and quoted me prices that were very competitive. I was quite pleased. I then showed him a sketch of the diamond mounting my girlfriend liked and he said that he was sure he could get it. I came back a few days later. Dirk had the mounting I wanted and I chose the diamond. Salvador, the jeweler on the premises, set the stone the next day. The ring is perfect and my fiance is thrilled with exactly the ring she wanted. I can't say enough good things about Heritage Jewelers. It was a great experience dealing with Dirk.

I went to Heritage Jewelers with a design in mind for an engagement ring for my finance-to-be. I worked directly with the owner of the store, Dirk Swiderek, who sat with me to make sure that he understood exactly what I wanted. Not only did Dirk meet, but he far exceed both my and my soon to be wife's expectations. The custom designed ring Dirk and his staff made was incredible. The quality of the design, the craftsmanship, the service that Dirk and his staff provided along with attention to detail was flawless. Dirk and Jan are the best. I have known them for probably 25 years now. My mom had her wedding ring recreated by them, 2 sisters and myself went to them for our wedding rings. And let's just say we are ALL really happy with our rings and our husbands were all really happy with quality, customer service, and especially PRICE! Every 6 months I have my ring checked and cleaned. I have lost a few side diamonds because I am really hard on my ring and take it to Dirk and Jan and it's fixed NO problem. Even the cost of replacing a diamond is so reasonable. I LOVE MY RING! I am so happy with it. It's been almost 10 years and it looks and feels like new because of the service it receives.
