Check your contract before signing as you will only get grief for asking them to change it.

After picking the stone that we wanted we dealt with Abe who was very nice and somewhat prompt. He wrote up the paper work for me to sign and I signed it without reading the bottom because he stated it was only for the price we discussed. Yes, this was my fault for not reading it and I did not notice until the next day that it actually read that “The above product was received or installed in good condition”. Because we did not give a deposit yet and they were still going to come out and measure I assumed we can just let them know we wanted new paperwork because we were going to give them a deposit when they came out to measure anyways. Or so I thought. On the day they called to come out and measure my wife spoke to Mo the owner to see if we can get the warranty in writing and new paperwork stating we gave them a deposit and that we would sign off when the work was completed. To our disbelief he said they would not give anything in writing for the warranty details and that they would not change the paperwork that I signed. I then decided to call and speak to Abe and he understood why we wanted new paperwork but because Mo was standing next to him, Abe advised me that Mo did not want the job anymore. So to anyone thinking about getting granite from this place be careful of what you sign and know that Mo, which, will be coming out to your home is not at all a people person and is very rude to customers.
