I was a Michigan resident and was trying to store my property while I was re-locating to another State. I found Livonia Self Storage thru the Yellow Pages on-line and was treated famously. The prices quoted over the phone were exactly what I got when I arrived there with my rental truck and my storage unit was clean and as promised.





The lady in charge (her name was Carol) treated me as well as any business ever has. Her assistant answered some questions on the phone that I forgot to originally ask and made herself available 1.5 hours earlier than usual for my movers to pick up my furniture/property for transport. I didn't feel comfortable leaving a key with my movers and asked the ladies at LSS (livonia self storage) to open my 10X12 unit when they arrived.





It is rare to receive the type of personal service (and excellent pricing) on something that is becoming a commodity. My earlier "on-line Contact" experience with 2 other storage companies (before finding LSS) was like I was "bait on a hook" and I don't even think they were actual storage companies... and didn't wait to find out. I don't usually write reviews but this company deserves the highest rating I can provide..

I was treated first class by the owner and assured of any doubts I had prior to storing all my furniture while awating my condo to be ready. They literally bent over backwards to work with me in what was a last minute emergency.

The personal touch I received was second to none and the rates were better than most of the storage companies I was able to check on. The storage facility is clean and well maintained. Definitely a refreshing experience

as good a any storage place.
