I just read the shyguy976 review, and so I looked up stress crack. It seems this happens alot and has been going on for quite a while. I think Henderson gave you some good advice about waiting a week to come back out. I am also impressed that the manager took care of the problem for you. I would use Henderson Glass just based on what you said.

Never again! I called Henderson to have a windshield installed in my daughters 2002 grand prix. I get a call from my daughter saying the new glass is in but its still cracked. I get home to look and its cracked, not sitting correctly and urethane on the paint. So I call the next morning and get corporate. As I start to explain they immediately forward me back to the Livonia store. Livonia then explains how this can happen from install to days after. They also say that its not a good thing to remove the glass because the urethane needs time to dry. I go along with it and they tell me that the earliest they could be out is the next Monday. Monday and Tuesday go by with no call and no new install. Once again I call and get corporate, they shoot my call right back to Livonia, I'm imagining that corporate hates complaints. The manager tells me that arrangements were made to replace the glass thurs, (what happened to Monday?) So a cracked glass and improper install with no communication took me almost 7 days to get done. If you want glass installed go somewhere else.

I had Henderson glass replace a tabletop that was broken. They did an excellent job, took less than a week, and the price was reasonable.

I had a Broken Windshield for my 2002 Toyota Camry in 2005. Henderson Glass at this location removed and repaired my Windshield, but didn't put it back properly.



They have left a gap between Windshield and Rubber Casing which is causing air to pass thru and making big Hissing Sound. Earlier the noise was very low and use to come only when I open some Windows. I couldn't make out from where the noise was coming. Now after 3 years the noise has become such a nusissance that I had to take it to my SERRA TOYOTA Dealer in Farmington Hills.They told me that 'Henderson Glass' didn't install my Windshield properly. It is aligned incorrectly and has gaps thru which air is passing.



Now since I am not able to find the receipt, they are not ready to fix the problem. I will be reporting them to Michigan Consumers Dept. soon.



So if you want Quality work and Peace of mind, then just avoid 'Henderson Glass'.
