John R. -- lets get this facts straight about VA Loan. Not be able to get a VA loan has NOTHING to do with JDM, Canzano Contracting or the Real Estate Agent and does NOT have anything to do about inspections. Your dissatisfaction of not being able to obtain a VA Loan in a "Site Condominium" community such as Morton Taylor Estates should be direct to VA. The Veterans Administration required a community be "approved" through VA in order for VA to insure mortgages in community labeled "Site Condominiums". The most outrageous of the these requirements is that 75 percent of all the homes in a community must be sold prior to getting VA approval. Because of this single reason in August 2105, John R. was told he would not be able to obtain a VA loan in the community. It is very disturbing to us that VA will not approve and issue mortgages on "Site Condominiums" as Single Family homes in the same way as FHA began doing in the mid 2000's. It is our opinion, VA is unfairly restricting Veterans from some purchasing some of the very best housing available (brand new, energy efficient, almost guaranteed great rate of return on an investment ). Perhaps the Veterans Administration needs to hear these facts loud and clear to change their policy about "Site Condominiums" and VA Loans.
