I inherited a 1940s-era clock from my grandmother. Nile repaired it perfectly, on time, and helped teach me about caring for it. He welcomes visitors - even young people - and is welcoming even with folks who just want to look and enjoy.

Beware of using the shop for any major repair. I inherited a clock that my grandfather had built. During shipping to me it was damaged. The damage was to the movement and the case, Niles quickly gave me a quote so I could collect the insurance money for it. Once I asked Niles to go ahead and make the repairs it took him over a year and a half. I constantly had to contact him to receive information about the progress and was met with excuses about his personal injuries and sub contractors leaving the country. The final visit to get the clock back he told me he had lost the handle to the face door and the clock face was missing a number. It took him two hours to reattach a new handle and find my receipt. I reluctantly paid him because it was a family heirloom and he refused to discount the price. I brought the clock home and found one of the columns was not even attached to the case. This maybe a store where you can buy clocks but if it is a clock that you like and want repaired properly do not use this store.
