The buisness I work for has been using them for the past year. We have 7 plasma TVs on the main floor and all of them but one have gone out. Our audio visual company quoted us 3,000+ to replace them, but I called Lins and they have been able to fix every single one of them for around 300.00 or less. They come get the TV and then bring it back the next day. Mrs Mae is always very courteous on the phone. I love them and will continue to use them :-)

Very pleased with Lin's TV service. Called one day, they came out the next. My Samsung 52 in. LCD was fixed in 20 minuites. The best part is that it didn't cost me a dime even though I had no warranty. I will definitely keep there number handy.

I used RS. I thought I was getting good work; you know, slow and steady. I even followed them to the new location. But my wife always questioned them. She claims to be a better judge of character (she has worked as a staffing director and juror review for several law firms). To appease her, I showed-up to reclaim a piece after several months of excuses. Lin's had the security clearance to work at our complex. So, I took it straight to them. I soon discovered that the years of warm and fuzzy feelings was a cover for being fleeced. Lin's has not sugar coated any the work needed. They have shown me problems with the TV and later the stereo, that were actual and that were inflected by earlier techs. I believe that some people suck up to divert your attention to get their hand in your pocket. Both, Lin's and RS, are costly and good at what they do. Lin's services electronic equipment and RS services egos.

My TV has gone out for the third time. The unit is no longer in warranty. But I'm not whining. Here in Little Rock, storms are a problem. The earlier repairs were considered acts of God, and should not be covered. But the makers warranty does not restart with a repair, nor are they psychic repair and predict future problems; however, they DO warranty parts REQUIRED and labor PERFORMED. This last repair cost me, but they say what they do and do what they say. Sure parts were ordered in advance, but it only confirmed the extent of the damage. And most of all, I decided to have the repair completed. More businesses should be this good (with the merchandise and customers). More customers should check the attitude at the door: and remember, they dont make 'em and they didn't break 'em. If it was a easy job, Radio Shack would still be selling parts and all moms' would loose the kitchen table for dads' repairs.

In July a storm damaged most of my electronics. Lin's TV was able to save the home theater system, projector TV, LCD TV, & old Sony. The Philips was not cost effective (what Philips are?). The bonus: a vintage quad Sanaui was resurrected. I was more pleased about the Sansui that another shop called "TRASH". My father bought the Sansui while serving overseas. I strongly associate that Sansui, after years of countless LPs and miles reel-to-reel tape, with dad. Now, his presence will be there for my sons. I was blessed that someone knew the importance of repair over replace. I was blessed that they knew "how to" repair.

They worked on my TV twice in a 30 day period while it was under warranty. It quit working again 2 months. The warranty ran out during this time and Lin's told me their work was not guaranteed. They told me I would now have to pay them to do what they apparently couldn't do will it was covered by my warrant.

I had a television that I bought through a store that has this service as their repair center. Two men came to look at my television, earlier than expected. My daughter was home alone, which they were not suppose to come in my house until I was home, luckily I was home within minutes. They were not professionally dress and appeared more like street thugs. They didn't really say what was wrong with the television but said they were going to take it to the shop. I have called almost weekly (7 weeks) to check on the repair. They had ordered the wrong part (4 weeks in and didn't bother to call me and let me know). They ordered another part, which I was told today they were still waiting on. They could not tell me the ETA of the part or when I could get the television back. They have been rude on the phone and want to put everything they have done back on the warranty company. UH....THEY ordered the WRONG part....USE someone else..I really feel for the guy with the other review.

Grossly overcharged

We made a early morning appointment with Lin's to correctly hook up six components on 3 tvs several days in advance, explaining we may need splitters, etc. and would need their help in securing any additional connectors to make sure they worked. Two men came IN THE AFTERNOON on Trip #1 and one tech fixed one tv setup while the other watched. They left before finishing, saying they had to leave for their next appt. They were given money to buy connectors for setups 2 and 3 before they returned. Another man came on Trip 2, but did nothing but see what was done on Trip 1. In the meantime, we bought connectors for setup 2 ourselves and fixed it. On Trip 3, the orginal two men came, again one working and the other watching, but had no connectors. We went and bought splitters, cables, etc., but the setup was never satisfactorily fixed to obtain a clear picture. We were charged $439.68 for 2 techs @ $110/hour plus a $79 service charge...plus we spent over $125.00 in parts ourselves. Two men were never needed and the level of expertise was certainly not worth $110/hour. They tried to recoup the cost of making 3 trips, when they should have only made one. Lin's was most unwilling to compromise. DO NOT USE unless you know the exact cost before they come....and be sure they do not send more technicians than are required.
