A decrease of performance and strain type injuries have a common denominator that comes down to one single word: RESISTANCE. Resistance is one force working against another force. When there is resistance present within our body, the imbalances are caused from "fascia and muscular restrictions", or tightness that over time can lead into more serious issues that could side-line the athlete. Repetitive training in sports often will lead to flexibility and muscular imbalances creating poor stability as well as weakened functional strength.
