Mrs. Regina Lucas McDonald graduated from Hunter College in Manhattan, New York in 1979, with a Bachelor of Arts major in Urban Affairs and minor in Sociology. She has over 25 years of banking experience. Her awards include certification of Banking and the Brokerage Business from the American Institute of Banking located in Atlanta, Georgia. She also successfully completed training for Operations Management for Wachovia in 1990 along with Trust services curriculum for Wachovia in 1992. Mrs. McDonald vividly remembers struggling during her own time of bereavement, as she mourned the loss of her uncle. During this extremely difficult time she was displeased with the services that she received, along with the tremendous financial burden of the funeral service. After this experience, Mrs. Regina McDonald dedicated herself to making a positive impact in the lives of others. She became determined to provide each family with the highest level of service. In 1997, Mrs. McDonald decided to further her education, graduating from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Services with an Associate of Science degree in 1999. She became a license funeral director/embalmer for the state of Georgia in 2002 and North Carolina in 2004. As a Funeral Director it is not difficult for Mrs. Regina Lucas McDonald to relate to the families that she serves. She believes that funeral services should be customized to meet each families personal needs.

Divine Mortuary Services, located at 5620 Hillandale Dr. in Lithonia, Georgia, opened its doors to the community on November 14, 2007. The facility sits on over 6 acres of land and is definately one of a kind. Owner's, Joseph And Regina McDonald III, have resided in Dekalb County for over 25 years and are passionate about providing exceptional quality in funeral service.

The service, for my mother, was beautiful.Ms. Regina, the funeral director, and the staff, were very professional, compassionate and caring. They listened and took care of every concern and wish They offer many packages and all of them are reasonable priced.
