I had a similar experience as the previous customer. I thought it was an honest mistake but now I am starting to wonder... Here is my situation: I took in my car for a simple oil leak, they said it was the bottom oil pan gasket and it would cost $750.00 to repair. I let them repair it and the next day I noticed that I still had the leak. I took the car back, they looked it over again said the rear main seal is leaking and needs to be replaced and it would cost $700.00 to repair! At this point I had no option but to finish what I started because I was already $750.00 into the deal so I let them do the second repair and guess what? The next day I had the exact same leak. I took it back again, they looked it over and said it's the bottom oil pan gasket and they will fix it under warranty. After the 3rd time in and almost $1500.00 they finally fixed the oil leak.
