I have been customer for Cumberland center for long time. Recently one of my 'THEORY" branded shirt was given for Laundry which has oil stains. Requested them to take extra care because of strain. To my surprise when I got the shirt it was torn and sorry note hanging on the short stating that strain could not be removed. When I collected along with other shirts, no one told me about this and I was shocked to see that it was torn during the process of keeping the shirt in the closet.

next day when I went to the store, the attendant told me to talk to Barbara who is General Manager of Luxury Cleaners. Barbara was rude on the phone and did not understand the pain/ shock that I have undergone. she says the best she can do is to give store credit and not to replace it. It was a branded shirt that I have to throw it now.

I feel they do not care for their customers. & customer service.

On 12/21, I brought in 3 mens shirts & 2 Tory Burch sweaters ($225/sweater). Jade helped me &I told her I wanted to wear 1 of the sweaters(the red one) on Christmas &Id like to pick them up on 12/23 - She said no problem. I returned to pick up my items on 12/23 & found the mens shirts were fine, but my red sweater had a huge hole in the back, so I took it out & examined it w/Ashley @ the front desk. We found 6-9 holes spread throughout. We looked @the blue sweater& found it had a small hole on the sleeve. Ashley checked my account & said they hadn't notated any damage. She explained her manager was out& wouldn't be in until 12/27. On 12/27 she didn't call. I called on 12/28 twice and finally I received a call from Barbara not long after. Barbara identified herself as the GM& proceeded quite rudely to tell me that the damage to my sweaters was due to moths. I explained to Barbara that wasn't possible, I wear the sweaters often& had worn the red sweater 2 days before & there wasn't any damage. I called out to her that when I dropped it off no one else identified holes& that even the dry cleaners hadn't notated any damage on my account. She told me that Jade did see a hole in the back after I dropped it off & wrote it on the slip. I asked her why there werent any notations when I picked it up-Barbara couldn't explain. I also asked that if all these holes were in the sweater when I dropped it off why would they have only notated a hole in the back (& not check the rest of the sweater) & if a customer dropped off a sweater w/ 6-9 holes & they didn't notice until after the customer left why wouldn't they call the customer to avoid a situation like this-Again, Barbara had no explanation. She said "Sure, out of all the clothes we dry clean we picked on ur two sweaters to ruin". She told me there is no way that she would refund me for the sweaters. Barbara was suppose to check back in w/Ashley to find out why she didn't notify me @pick up that they saw the holes when I dropped off & then call me back. of course, no call back. I called again on 12/29, to follow up w/ Barbara & she stated she still hadnt spoken to Ashley. Barbara said once she spoke w/ Ashley she would send out the sweaters for analysis & She said she would call me back by the end of the day with an update. Again, 12/29 came &went- no call from Barbara. I called on 12/30& spoke w/Barbara & asked why she didnt call back-per usual no explanation. I asked if she spoke w/Ashley & she said she did & that Ashley knew the hole was there. I told her that wasnt true. I told Barbara I wanted to speak w/Chuck, the owner. She said she would "try". After we hung up I stopped into the store & spoke w/ Ashley. She stated that she didnt know the holes were there (proving Barbara lied). I attempted to call Barbara back & after a few calls it became apparent Barbara was screening my calls. Once I got ahold of Barbara I told her I spoke w/Ashley & that she confirmed she didnt know the holes were there. I told Barbara I didnt appreciate being lied to & that I was not happy. She said Im sorry I mis-spoke. (She was trying to track down Ashley for 2 days and then happened mis-speak & say Ashley knew the hole was there- sounds like a lie to me). I told Barbara that I wanted to speak w/Chuck today, & she said he wont tell u any different, we have a protocol. I told her I wanted to speak w/ Chuck about how Ive been treated &the lies that Ive been told. She said What about u harassing me? Youve called 15 times, Ive had to speak with u 15 times (1st-15 is an exaggeration, but 2nd if it were 15 times, u ruined $450 worth of merchandise, u dont follow through on anything & u lie. It is ur job to deal w/ an unsatisfied customer. If u cant handle ur job, find a new one). I told Barbara that I wanted to deal w/Chuck & I wanted a call today. She told me she doesnt always talk to Chuck & she would *try* to send a message (really, u can't get ahold of the owner?).

I cannot even give this business one star. I left my gown from daughters wedding worth over 200.00 a little longer then I should have and when I went to get it it was gone. The manager said she called my house which she never did . I listen to voice mail daily and never once was there a message. They only said sorry well that is not good enough. I hope anyone who thinks about going there thinks twice. I also hope whoever has the gown deserves to have it . Never will I step in this business again or ever recommend them. I also asked what they could do for me in this situation some type of credit or refund and she said no sorry. This is totally absurd and rotten customer service. The only reason I put a star is due to The review cannot be posted without a rating.

Absolutely HORRIBLE and EXPENSIVE!!! Brought them my daughter's prom dress to be pressed. Dropped it off on a Monday they said to pick it up in 3 days. Well I went in on Saturday afternoon to pick it up (the day of her prom). I was in disbelief when they couldn't find her dress. Well after 10 minutes of them looking for it they finally found it and told me it wasn't worked on! Are you kidding me? Mind you I came in 2 days after it was promised to be done. Waited while they worked on it, paid $40. Got home and was pissed to see it looked more wrinkled than it did when I brought it in.Never ever will I be doing business there. That was my first time doing business and definitely my last!!!

I am so dissatisfied with their services! I sent over two brand new expensive comforters to be dry cleaned and I got them in very poor conditions. Torn and stained unbelieveable then when I called they said it was dammed when I sent it over. We were charged 75.00 for their services .....NEVER WILL I USE THEM AGAIN.

i.e., A local favorI had my $300.00 jacket cleaned by them I picked it up and it was coming a part in my hands I asked what happened they said its not their fault but it was my jackets fault!!! They were awful about it and offed no soultion I went to a talor and they said they didnt wash the leather right and it would be $70.00 to fix it I sent an email and never heard back they should take responsibility and pay to have it fixed.
