Established in 1974, Zeman Elementary School offers a range of academic and recreational opportunities for the intellectual, physical, social and career development of more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s educational program includes instruction in art, physical education, information technology and music. Zeman Elementary School maintains a work force of over 20 employees. The school operates a parent-teacher association that encourages the participation of parents in several school activities. Zeman Elementary School is a part of Lincoln Public Schools, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools. Lincoln Public Schools schools offer various athletic opportunities, as well as conducts special programs.
