I have been there for three surgeries and have never been treated better, I knew every step where I was during the procedure everyone was kind and considerate from the time I get there to the time I got home I have had a awesome turn around, the problem I had is gone, Kellie was my first nurse and was awesome and very sweet, she kept my spirit up and we had a laugh or two, thank you to the staffing and my doctor and PA for the great job, thanks Mike

Terrible communication with the "adults" who brought me in for surgery. Anesthesia change the day before. Anesthesiologist was a PA, which I was not notified of, I learned this the day I returned home when I did some research of my own, since he referred to himself as a "Dr." I was rushed after my surgery to leave their center . . . I do not remember being taken to a post-op room, just directly back to my "area," and served a soda and asked to get up and walk on my knee that just had surgery on it within half an hour of surgery. I was told that IF I needed any pain medication I could call later and a prescription would be filled. I was discharged around 9:30, which was 2 hours after my surgery BEGAN. I phoned between 3 AND 4 pm to ask for pain relief as the deadening was completely out and I was miserable. I was promised that my pain meds would be called in immediately. I went to my pharmacy an hour to hour and a half later and it was not there. I went home and called Nebraska Orthopaedic (at this point it was after 6 pm and spoke to the on-call physician) and after a check with my chart, I received a phone call 7 minutes later with a promise that my pain medication would be called in! And, it was that time. Of course, by the time all of this happened, I had to wait til nearly 7 pm for pain medication. This meant I went almost 4 hours in intense pain. I have never had such terrible service and this has been my 8th surgery so I have been through many surgeries in my life thus far and I am not even 40. I want to call and talk to someone about this but am afraid that my Orthopaedic Surgeon will drop me as a patient.
